    Nervous Newbie

    Hi Guys & Gals,

Definetely new here but been reading lots and lots of reading to do!!.

background on me is i am an aussie 48 years young male.

have been always training and playing sport since i was 15.

The last 2 years have personally been a bit rough with cycling accident during a race and then part of of op was botched need another 3 ops and one more major one to go.recently had double hernia op just to top off what has been ordinary 2 years with a bit of depression thrown in.

Anyway things are looking better but since hernia op put on lots of wieght and struggling with fitness. For the longest time have really wanted to try some stronger supplements to get where i want to be and that is super fit and toned.

Currently working hard on diet(chocaholic) and getting into good routine.

Want to try maybe HGH but would love to here some ideas as i want to continue to race that is cycling masters division.

    thanks in advance Egan

Welcome Egan! HGH is a longterm commitment as in 6 months and might help some. I must mention that HGH does not get along with sugar and if you are a choclaholic this could backfire with your insulin . glucose levels...so if you do go down the HGH path this needs to be addressed. (I understand and love chocolate too but had to go cold turkey on ALL sugar since with one bite, it is all over!) Have you considered TRT? This might really help your depression. Do you have any bloodwork lab results of late? to post? anything? this would really help the members give you more specific input. I am curious as to when you say you have put on a lot of weight struggling with fitness...how can this improve? Do you mind sharing how much weight you think you need to lose? Are you working out at all? Are you cardio? Sometimes if you are way too overweight, then some of the therapies people talk about around here could actually work against you as in possibly gaining a lot more weight in your chest if you have a lot of estrogen.

Meanwhile....hang out here and learn and you will find tons of help here with fantastic people who really know a lot!
And if you want to tell us more, then please do....the more info from you, the more specific tailored advice.

    WELCOME!

    Thanks for reply's
My Stats are was up to 96kg and i am 182cm(sorry not in imperial).
In the last 3 weeks have been back on the bike riding 3-4 days a week for min of 1-2hours mid intensity and longer ride 3hours or so.
Diet well cut out chocolate obviously.Having breakfast cereal then snack at 10.30am lunch sandwich and diet coke at 13.30, museli bar at 15.00 and dinner at 18.30.Maybe another snak at 20.00 but plan to cut that one out.Drinking plenty of water during the day.Don't drink alcohol as one vice is enough.
No bloodwork done yet have to get up the courage and know exactly what to ask doctor to test for.Depression is fine not any meds at all currently.
Would like to get down to 82 kg's but currently aiming for 86 kg's as short term goal.Would be interested in TRT if HGH is so complicated.

    Keenly awaiting your reply

Again, "modalert", banned in international sports, has speed like effect but it is not. Help control appetite,
workout a bit longer. Easy to obtain. Suggest no more than 100mg in am. Much use in Afghanistan by
    coalition forces.

It's called Provigil in the usa, generic name modafinil and it's my understanding that it is pretty hard to get a script for it in the usa for off label use, they currently prescribe it for narcolepsy. It is easily obtained from overseas. It's a schedule IV medication in the usa. The navy has given it in high doses to fighter pilots to help them stay awake and alert on missions.

Once it is available in generic form in the usa it will likely be more widely prescribed for people who work the graveyard shift, truckers who drive for long hours, etc.

I don't understand why you would suggest this medication to him though. It's also my understanding that a lot of people report the effects (alertness without jittery feelings like from caffeine, increased focus, increased productivity) tend to wear off rather quickly so regular daily use doesn't give the same results as it does the first few days of usage.

another thought instead of GH would be peptides...
    specifically
    GHRP-6
    CJC-1295

HGH is from an external source
the peptides trigger your body to produce more on its own

Peptides are pennies on the dollar compared to GH

I just ordered mine, and should receive here in a week or two.

Recommend googling the above two peptides and see for your self
