TRT and Acne problems! "sorry another acne question"

ok been reading forums for awhile and trying to learn as much as I can from other members. Browsed around a bit for the question I am about to ask and learned alot but still felt I needed to here some opinions.

44 yrs old and did about 10 cycles in my lifetime with some successful and some not. Anyways recently went on TRT do to low test levels I believe it was around 219 or so."probably wrecked my natural production from my history but thats another story" Been on TRT since march 2011 2cc of cyp every two weeks. firt two months was fine then....

I decided to do my own cycle starting May and went up gradually by adding 1cc in between trt then to 2cc every week. All was going fine until middle of june and acne started and never stopped....

So i panicked and cycled down gradually within the last 6 weeks and only been doing my TRT which is 2cc every two weeks "twice a month" and acne is still minor to severe and no signs og letting up.....

I tried form first signs all remedies posted on forums form creams to soaps to high dosing of vitamins etc. b5,b6,d,e,a nothing worked. Also sun will dry them out but next day there back. Acne is cycst and normal and annoying....

ok now that i am back to dr..levels i explain to him about my sides so he perscribes me minocyline "NOT SURE OF SPELLING" Been on perscription for 7 days and acne seems to got worse it was contained on back and shoulders now on face......

not sure of my levels along the way as dr never checked. iam guessing he is going to check on my next visit when i tell him perscription is not working...

Ok i guess my question is what is the best way to bail out of my situation and go back to square one...i rather deal with being sleepy during the day then all this acne......

    thanks in advance

Ok seen dr n he agrees not getting better n shouldn't get worse. He is sending me to dermatologist.

    Turning into nightmare

Xtra 20 lbs wasn't worth it

K got appointment next Thursday ...

Surprise no input from anyone. U think my levels are jumping do to getting 2cc every third Wednesday or my body still adjusting from. My own cycle that ended 6 weeks ago?

Keep me posted mate. Just got a script of clindamycin phosphate topical ....like putting water on a fire...does not prevent anything but manages to keep it from getting worse. Four years on HRT before the first outbreak and it has been relentless ever since. Even quit HRT for 6 weeks (T level at 139) before i finally decided sleep was a must. Keep in mind that living in Washington is like living in the stone age...drs could care less and the only ONLY solution is more T or less T ...Dr even said "well, it's not that bad"...if i were 16 instead of 60 maybe.

Acne annihilator can help your skin drastically. We have put it to the test and seen it work real well. Cheap too!

Can't believe the Doc did not do bloodwork to see what is going on in relation to the test supplementation. While it could simply be your body reacting to the higher test levels it could also be a reaction to estrogen spikes and levels. Lots of times test will aromatise ( spelling?) particularly when only taken every 2 weeks so that the dosage is 400mls (pretty high for one shot) and cause a spike in estrogen. Try an AI (aromatase inhibitor) for a few days and see what happens. Another recommendation would be to spit up and do 1 cc weekly or even every 5th day this will cause you blood levels to be a lot more stable and will also lessen the amount of aromatase taking place.

    Worth a shot.

I had a bout of acne and it was all related to an ineffective AI......get your stuff from AR-R .....and get on an estrogen blocker of some sort.....that 20 lbs was probably all water from estrogen out of control......I had no acne problems at all on 800mg test a week with good stane.......I had problems on 500 a week with bad stane....water bloating.....acne.....shitty. Don't gain a bunch of weight at our age.....get ripped......strength to weight is where it's at.......low body fat is what you want.

Try researching accutane if nothing else works, but beware with your liver values. It will not damage beyond repair but values need to be monitored. Ive tried everything recommended here and nothing works. Start it at low mg eod or eeod, and adjust accordingly. Research it first, its pricey and dangerous with some suffering psych issues, if you have any pre-existing pych issues, I would recommend against it ! Good luck!

I broke out BAD after my 3rd cycle and had cyst acne on back/shoulders/chest...I tried all treatments and non worked at all. I saw my Derm and she put my on accutane. My first Month I was on 40mg and now I'm finishing up my 2nd month on 80mg a day. I can tell a big difference with everything starting to clear up....the only downfall to accutane is that you have to be on it for about 6 months...but it'd worth it if that means no more breakouts!!!
