    help with these results

I am a 45 year old male with every low T symtom possible. No energy or sex drive which I would say is a -10 ouch. No desire to get out or even think of putting up a fight for life or all involved. I hooked up with a TRT clinic and these are the results:

    Testostron 207 nd/dl (348-1197)
    Free T 5.7 pg/ml (6.8 - 21.5)
    LH 4.5 miu/ml (1.6 - 8.6)
    Estradiol 17.8 pg/ml (7.6 - 42.6)
    shbg 29.2 nmol/l (16.5 - 55.9)
    Cortisol 19.5 ug/dl (2.3 - 19.4)

I have an apointment next week to get on some sort of therapy, and was wandering what yall think of these levels and what would you expect the remidy to be. should I expect at leat 100mg per week with an estrogen blocker and some HCG ? I worry that the clinic will start me off on low dose and in 6 weeks will feel nothing. With the expense of this clinic I don't want to waste the time and money and would prefer they get as close to right the first time around. Given these numbers what would yall press the doctor for?

I have two pages of test results if I have missed something you need to see.

    Thanks so much

Ed...beside every line item result...is the range pattern for someone your age.

Check the results....and determine where you stand in that Range.

ARe you on the high or low side of Free and Total Test?

Don't forget the blood pressure and cholesterol results either. Many Drs won't prescribe test if your blood pressure is too high.

If you get on HRT you probably wont need an AI most likely. If your doctor prescribes you HCG also then you found a good one. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks so much, I have signed on with AAG Health clinic who seems to believe in the following regiment:

    Testosterone Treatment Dosages for Men
    - 50mg Testosterone enanthate /cypionate every third day.
    - 0.25mg Arimidex every third day.
    - 500IU HCG every third day.

However I have not had my first visit to get my dose yet. Also AAG is quite $$$ 500 for labs 500 for DR visit and not sure on the dose cost.
I am so tired of these symtoms, I hope this will help. Do you have an opinion on the minimal amount that tends to work in man at a total T level of 207?

    Thanks much

    Ed,

I would expect they would adminsiter 100mg to 200mg a week, broken in to 2 injections per week. Some inject once a week, I am currently on .5ml every 5 days. I do take an AI, as do most on TRT. I take .25 every other or every third day. I jsut started back on HCG , I sould split that into 2 injections, I will give Dr. Crisslers protocol a try, injecting 2 days prior and then one day prior to my T-shot.

been on TRT for about 10 months now, the change is dramatic. Prior to TRT I used to force myself to the gym, look for excuses to leave early, never seeing any gains - completely frustrated. When I got home I would make excuse to not engage my kids in sports or daily activities. I was quiet, withdrawn, short tempered, tired so at 44 I bought in to the I was in a "rut" idea. Figured it was just stress from work, daily life etc... I felt tired all the time, slightly depressed and no real interest in sex. I struggled with my weight, had tendon/joint pain and just overall felt like crap.

I visited a wellness doctor who performed a round of blood tests, diagnosed me w/ low Test, started me on Gels at first and then we progressed to Test Cyp injections. I now visit the gym daily, coach my kids sports, play softball in 2 different leagues, care about work/know it is improtant to our finances - but I dont stress over it. I again enjoy life - I have a sex drive, morning and night time wood, I simply look forward to getting out of work and going to the gym and/or playing with my kids. Prior to TRT, I would seek gratification via a bottle of Sailor Jerry's rum and a bag of Doritos. I still enjoy both but they are now secondary to all else. Now I am down about 30lbs., runing on the tread mill, working out, feeling good and content.

I think I am typical of those who are on TRT, the results and experience are not overnight, this is not an instant gratification med. I beleive you can expect a life altering experience - TRT will give you the tools to perform the work, you must accept the responsibility and make it a success. I suggest to take it slow, read the posts here, ask questions and learn to read your body signs/symptoms as it relates to Estrogen/Test levels etc...

    HM,

Want to thank you for a very honest and candid update. Your testimony brings me much comfort as I feel like you once did. I am hopeful that this will end and I can regain my life. If you don’t mind me asking, what was your start and then optimal T level? Your response was one of the best I read as it touched just about all aspects of what we can encounter and wish to remedy at our age. I am in complete agreement with you on the proactive approach to this treatment and can see from many post that understanding the therapy process requires some knowledge of BW and related level interaction. I have an appointment this Sat. and hope the Doctor in his infinite wisdom will start me off on a good regiment. I have recently taken a job that will eventually have me going to Hong Kong so I hope I can continue treatment there.

My sincerest thank you for your input….

    Ed,

I honestly dont remember my specific levels when I started, my doc has the blood work ( i should get them) at the time it might as well been written in chinese, I had no real understanding of the results. I do remember my free test was in the high 200's, my last blood work had me at 1100 free on a range of 348-1197. As for travel, I believe buried in this site is a thread about travelling on TRT. I would doubt that is an issue, a scripted med is a legal med. If your there for a prolonged period, arrange shipping w/ your pharmacist or doc. Good luck Saturday, remember any regiment is better than what you are doing now. Hoping I'm wrong, but expect to assist in educating your doc about HCG and AI's.

Hey HM, what do you think?

These were my stats when I visited the Dr.

    Testostron 207 nd/dl (348-1197)
    Free T 5.7 pg/ml (6.8 - 21.5)
    LH 4.5 miu/ml (1.6 - 8.6)
    Estradiol 17.8 pg/ml (7.6 - 42.6)
    shbg 29.2 nmol/l (16.5 - 55.9)
    Cortisol 19.5 ug/dl (2.3 - 19.4)

He prescribed 150mg test per week and then an anti estrogen and HCG to begin in about 3 weeks. My questions is 150mg too much? I want to get to some good numbers but down't want to over do it. Should I be taken HCG and anti estrogen before later BW?

    Thanks Much
