Question 50 year old newbie needing advice on first cyle

Ready to start first cycle.Doing sustanon (300 -400mg) and decajet(300-400 mg) .Want to see changes but dont want to blow up quick for discretionary reasons and I am very concerned with side affects and possible erictile dyafunction with deca use. Also need help with AI's to be used during cycle.
Also was wondering if I need anything other than Noladex for post cyle.want to return test cycles as quickly as possible. Thanks

Unless you have been on a while I would definatly drop the Deca from the cycle for a variety of reasons. As to PCT read Swiftos threads on PCT they are some of the best written most informed threads and it would take way too long for me to retype a whole bunch of PCT information which would just parrot what Swifto has already laid out.

    Welcome to the board mate
I too am 50, jjust fyi
There are some concerns I have ffor us older bulls. Tendon/ligament strength lags muscular strength, so you will be tempted to take advantage of your new prowess by going heavy, but will be suseptible to injury. I'd advise three years intense gym time to allow tendons to toughen up.
First cycle should be test only, so you know how your body responds to that without confusing the issue by adding other compouunds.
Run an ai during cycle, and pct after. hcg to preserve testicular size if that is an important thing for you.

    But...
I'd recommend not running that yet. Go to your doc and get some blood panels, so you can bench mark against that down the road. make sure it has free/total test, estrogen/estrodial, and TSH with T3 and T4.
Blokes our age usually have low T, so if that is your case, then you should consider trt.
once on trt, you will notice your body responding, improving LBM, reducing BF%. Muscular strength should begin to return to where it was in your youth.
Then, if you want to cycle,

Exactly what Times said. Baseline BW is key here. Visit the TRT forum and you can find proper BW in the Finding a Physician Sticky. Or, go to www.allthingsmale.com and it's there also.

Oh, and if your not already, start supplementing with Vit D immediately. It will improve your free T level.

I agree with above and am 56. Lucky I had power lifted non stop for 30 years. My tendons and ligaments are fine. The good news is I am now stronger than any time in my past. I like the feeling and still enjoy my training. Good luck and I hope you have great results. John
