Thumbs up The old days of bodybuilding where so much better

I am almost pain free from my god damn back pain, prolotherapy with sodium morrhuate and saline made a major difference.

I have been reading a lot of things about vince gironda, serge nubret, dessicated liver tablets, milk and egg protein, meat, whole eggs, saturated fat, testosterone , vitamine D 5000IU per day, theses guys eating twice a day.

Serge Nubret ate a lot of horse meat and beans, vince gironda ate eggs and meat, and build is amazing physique at 46.

Serge Nubret at 70 years old http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIPZgmxgg_s

If that is not enough to convice anyone i don't know what is.

I know that at some point theses guys except Gironda have taken steroids but anyone who used steroids know you cant just site on your a$$ and grow you still have to hit the gym.

Arnold also training in this fashion. All of them trained in the gym 6 days per week, i know not everyone can do this. I have my home gym and been doing the 8 X 8 for the last 2 months doing chest back and delts on day 1 biceps and triceps on day 2 and legs on day 3.

Like them i am not going to failure but i am getting pump like hell, i have just added last week dessicated liver pills and i have a lot more pump and energy, the only new supplement that i have added is creatine monohydrate 5g after training and 10g of glutamine before bed. I have a milk and egg shake with 3 whole eggs and cream too.

This is Serge Nubret training http://boldanddetermined.com/2011/02...rkout-routine/

and when i am done with the 8 X 8 i really want to hit that Nubret had an amazing physique and i remember watching him train at some point on a tv show back in the 80 and he was doing squats with moderate weights he did like 15 reps.

Not going to failure and going for the pump really prevents overtraining, also keeping your training sessions around 30-45 minutes everytime will also prevent over training. Has Vince stated i never do cardio except light walking, all thoses new ways of intense training like P90X and Insanity are great but in the end they will bust the immune system and am sure that they are way to intense to follow, everyone at my job that has started theses programs ended up sick or injured....... go figure. Vince Gironda used weight training with prefect forms to burn fat and this is working out fine for me too.

There is another thing that has been bothering me lately, i subscribed to brad pilon newsletter, and got tone of dumb letters, now i know that brad wants to do good, and that he tells people to fast 1-2 times per week for 24 hours and thats it, the rest of the week you can eat most what you want, he also stats that you need to be on a calorie restriction to lose weight, which is right. When you subscribe to is newsletter you will receive 2 pdf files the zen way of eating and is new method of doing less in the gym and achiving the same results. From what i have read brad cheats a lot eating all sort of crap, and most people what tried eat stop eat have gained weight, he also says that using a intermittent fasting approach like leangains fasting 16 hours a day is doom to failure, while i have been doing this for a little over 2 months and find it very easy to follow. I feel that is training approach is for people who just want to lose a bit of weight and not look great, after all we love training why do less?, i got plenty of time to get into my basement and train this is what i love to do and doing it 6 days per week doesnt bother me one bit.
