What should I take for muscle size?
I am 64 years old and back in the gym after years away, also, recoving from knee replacement and foot surgery.
My goal is to gain strenght and SIZE!
I am 6'5", 245, and stuggling to keep weight at that level. I work out 4 days aweek.
My question is this:
1. What steroid or combination of steroids should I take, and how long of a cycle?
2. what steroid would produce the fastest and most size in muscle?
I am taking test prescribed by my Doctor.
I would appreciate all comments.
thanksa

Hey Sonny,
Your second question is a bit concerning to me. There really isn't anything that will produce "Fastest and Most Size". Your gains will be diet dependant. It takes time to build muscle, with or without steroids . You can take steroids that will bulk you up in 4 to 6 weeks, but that will mostly be water weight that you will shed faster than you gained it.
Have you considered having your current diet evaluated? We have lots of experienced nutritionists here that are willing to critique your diet so that you maximize your results. Once you have that in check, and your body fat percentage is in the mid-teens, you can consider blasting through your Testosterone Therapy dose with a higher dose for a while and then going back on TRT. Certainly don't worry about multiple compounds. Testosterone is all you will need once you're ready.
Best of luck to you.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

Welcome mate!
The older you are, the longer you should wait before deciding on steroids . this has nothing to do with muscular development and everything to do with injury prevention. your tendons and ligaments are probably fairly weak, and will take a few years in the gym to toughen up. Tendon strength lags muscular strength when taking steroids, partly due to a low concentration of blood vessels in those areas. This means your muscles will be stronger than your tendons can keep up with.
"back in the gym after many years away" means to me you are starting, more or less, from scratch. It's good your doc is prescribing TRT. You should also consider creatine, at least 5 grams a day.
How's your body fat % looking? Do you have calipers to measure this?
For the first year or two, focus on your diet and exercise routines.
Taking steroids now is like slapping a blower on a stock 67 chevy impala. Sure, it will increase horsepower, but first time you really push the petal to the metal, you'll be leaving a wake of tranny parts all over the highway.
You're just flat out not ready for it mate.
What are your thoughts?
