Thumbs up Starting the year on the right track

I did a few 1 month cycle of tren ace and anavar was quit good no water no estrogen, i have a very high estrogen conversion when i take testosterone and it bloats me crazy i also have a natural T level of 700 even at my age of 41.

I went to Cuba in September this year and was drug free, i sort of ate a lot less since the food there is awful and i was in the best shape of my life, training every morning in the gym at the resort, walking on the beach a lot and just eating a bit less,.

Since i got back from Cuba i gain a bit so i decided to get on a carb cycling way of eating, since i am in the gym close to 6 times per week lifting weights i cannot do cardio right now do to a hip labral tear i am getting PRP treatments to repair it but i can walk no problem and do light leg training.

I also decided to take a break on the steroids found myself to depend on them and do it drug free with a good diet, some ephedrine green tea tabs to help fatloss and good whole food.

    Lets get cracking

I saw you said " Carb Cycling way of eating " please educate me as to what you mean by this ?

I am 54 on TRT with a Dr. but still have to self medicate due to his lack of knowledge and I lost from 266 lbs down to 219 lbs in 10 mths and now I am a lean 240 lbs and I target 0 carbs and have added a little fat to my diet and have more energy > Carbs pack bad weight on me and I mean like 2 weeks over Christmas and 5 lbs and I can see right where it went ! Belly pouch ! Sooooo help me understand the purpose of targeting carbs to eat if that is what you meant ? , please ?

Hi BuzzardMarinePumper has you know we are all different, i have like you gotten in low and very low carb diets in the past, i shed so much weight on them, atkins, ketogenic diet and more. My main issue with this is dealing with the ketosis effect, also not that i did all of then without steroids so i lost a lot of muscles too. I have read Ventudo books lose the fat feed the muscles, i have also read a lots of books in intermittent fasting and many other books on dieting.

It really comes down to what works for you, when i am low carbing i cannot train as hard or as good as i do when my muscles are filled with glycogen, my pump is terrible, i fatigue way to fast, last say its chest day and i do 4 sets of bench then 4 sets of incline press 4 sets of incline flyes and 3 sets of peck deck on a low carb diet i can barly finish the incline press and i am down, it also take so much more time to recuperate and the soreness is terrible. I did atkins for 3 months and never could get used to the ketosis effect, i always felt foggy....

Getting the best of both worlds, carb cycling is pretty simple i do it on a 3 day split, 1 day i will eat moderate carbs say 200g a day or less, next day around 50-100g and the third day 20g ( on the third day i had some intermittend fasting too 14=16 hours or so) its quit simple and i try to eat around 2400 cals a day.

A good thing i learned from lose fat feed the muscles is not to go too stricts with calories, you know like cutting 1000 cals from your diet i like to train and since i am back in the gym after so many years of failure due to back pain its great to see i can lift good weight again with good forms.

I try to eat the carbs after my training i train in the morning night time worker so i hit the gym after my shifts around 7 am.

I am doing the Vince Gironds 8 X 8 workout look it up on the internet and free, then i will switch back to the adonis index.

    Good luck to you.

I have added this stack: green tea exctract chromium tri and pyro pro (cinnamon, synedrine) and 3g of arginine before working out. austinite as a great post going in the supplement section about this well worth the read.

I have hit the gym 6 days this week and i feel great, glad that at 41 i can recuperate as fast as i do. So chest triceps, back biceps and legs delts is my spilt.

This morning i was still sore from my last chest workout but i read an article that says if you poke yourself and its not that painful you can work the muscle again.

I have been a various steroids for the past 2 years, none stop it all started with a failed TRT protocol that i did not need, then we moved on to deca , equipoise , masteron that did so little to fix my back pain, then GH 2IU per day, then we tried various cycles of tren ace anavar winstrol V that was pretty impressive since my body aromatise testosterone like crazy even with an AI i found that using small dosage of tren ace 150-200mg per week with winstrol V 150-200 per week and some anavar 40mg got my body really shredded and without water.

But now its time to stop and give my body a long needed break, i am happy with the the results i got from tren win and var did wonders for my back pain along prolotherapy and whole blood i am now able to train legs and actually get a decent pump.

As we age our muscle mass is there and it stays i was off weight training for nearly 10 years due to a bad back injury chiros did a good job to worsen the whole thing but during this time i lost a lot of shape but my body mass stayed the same, so its not true that you shrink and lose everything once you stop, i been training since i was 13 years old in my basement and jointed my first gym at 16 got injured at 29 but during that time i never stop training i was always a minimum of 4 days a week in the gym and went up to 6 days a week, also doing tae kwon do karate boxing and pro wrestling.

So that was 16 years of training and a lot of that was with heavy weights. I feel that at 41 i don't need to lift that heavy so i use moderate weights shorter rest between sets and am done in 40 minutes or less doing 8 X 8 can get very intense when you reach sets 6 i sometime fail at the 6-7 rep so its intense and i get a sick pump. 8 X 8 is also an amazing way to lose fat and really get the muscles shaped up.

I won't add any more size and i don't even want it i rather go for a more defined physique then that bulky look i had before small waist line and defined body but that is my goal.

My 8 X 8 sample routine: chest triceps for this morning exercise listed can be check on youtube i have combined some of Gironda and some of the adonis index exercises.

Empty stomach training took 2 pyro pro 3 arginine tabs 1 tri chromium and 2 green tea extract. Fasted for 12 hours.

    Chest:

bench press to neck weight used 110 pounds 8 X 8 failed at the 6 sets and add to due 2 forced reps.

Incline press DB 40 pounds used 8 X 8 failed at the 7 set for rep 2.

pullover done with tricep bar 8 X 8 weight stack use 60 pounds was able to complete all set without burn reps amazing stretch on the lats when done standing.

Peck deck 3 X 13 i combined capillaries work with the 8 X 8 so i finish it off my chest like this.

At this point i am pretty done wondering if i really need to do triceps but to my surprise i still got some left bench and incline really work the triceps.

tate press db 8 X 8 adonis index was able to complete all sets weight used 20-25-30 db

    triceps pulldown 8 X 8 60 pounds stack

at this point i am done did not do a burn set.

Rest time between sets 30 seconds to 90 seconds. total workout time 40 minutes. VInce Gironda said in is book that if the training is kept short and intense there is no overtraining so i can train 6 days a week, but keep my training brief, also i don't do any cardio yet a part from walking here its Canadian winter so cold as hell. I walk between 30 to 60 minutes per day. I also eat more protein from eggs, meat, i wanna eat more foods almond etc and also dump most supplements like whey protein or powdered protein i feel you just don't need them if the diet is good with whole food, i do believe in a strong multi vitamine some omega 3 i don't eat any fish a part from tuna, and that fat burning stack i started taking this morning.

Will wait 1 hour before eating, note not everyone can train 6 days per week and its understandable i am single right now and got a lot of time with my job working 3 nights a week for 12h shifts, i really love the old bodybuilding days when there was no rule and guys like Arnold would train 6 days a week.

Tomorrow back and biceps i will post the workout.

This is my workout so anyone interested can re arrange it to fit its need i will change exercises and more for muscles confusion from time to time.

since i lost so much weight due to my separation i am around 215 right now planning to get down to around 200 pounds i started to get some compliment from people, i guess its been a very long time since i got some compliments from the ladies, women like a men with broad shoulders nice chest still working on the stomach but its really not that bad. With a good hair dye they tell me i look in my early 30 which is really nice and most don't believe me when i say i am 41. This is not bragging its just me gaining confidence that i had lost when my ex girlfriend left me for another guy at here job. Theses compliments give me even more energy and motivation to stick to my diet and train.

I will also be moving in my new condo at the end of the month now living with my mother and grand mother diet as been almost impossible, there is so much crap food here and my grand mother always give me candy bars and stuff. I will get much better results on my own.

When i was 39 people actually tough i was 46 i had very short hair and most of the sides and back was gray, since my separation i decided to give myself a style, so i let my hair grow longer its been 7 months now and i got a good length i can't wait to see in a full year how long they will be.

I feel more alive now that i am single then when i was with my ex girlfriend the feeling is amazing.

lol not laughing at you , rather with you ! Sad thing is I am 54 and very similiar situitations . Short of it I am 54 was ran over by a truck in 02 and I am at a pain level that finding meds that make pain managable and not make me sick is a challange ! I have had so many operations ; to many to list and I was in and out of the Hospital so much that it was and really to a point still is assisted care or live with my parents but if I am careful I can assist my parents and get to the Gym during day light hours and have few issues so plan on getting my own place in about 2 mths Feb.

I made a friend request and wanted to pm you about you diet and some of the books you have read if you don't mind . Noting unusual just not so much public info as a conversaion ?

Oh I saw another thread you had and it was about shoulder surgery and I did not read it but I do know I had Ortoscopic shoulder surgery and it was the most painful of all I have had and the back nerve block that is dangerous is IMO a requirement due to the level of pain you will experience ? It was more painful to me than my Pelvic cup and hip implant

I said all that to share this from my personal experience I was scheduled for a left Rotator Cuff Surgery and also a left knee replacement both about 2 mths apart I started TR Oct of 2012 and joined this forum about the same time . Gained more knowledge and medicial info here than from my Dr.

Soooooo Times Roman has a log on TB - 500 use and if you read it and give it a shot you may be amazed ! I was in so much pain I could hardly walk and I had to raise my left arm up or sown wth my right ! I researched the TB -500 . I canceled both surgerys and I train back and soulders hard except with lighter weights and higher reps ? I just wanted to share this with you since I am against any surgery if it can be avoided ! So feel free to pm me and I will share what my reseach accomplished and along with the info from Times Roman you IMO would really want to research this before going under the knife . I am not the only member of this forum that swears by TB - 500 I think you will find a lot more educated and experienced people than me refrence positive research of TB - 500 . With my research it was a win win if I avoided another surgery I was ahead of the game and also the research with the TB - 500 was less $$ than any operation or even out pacient surgery .

The way you research TB - 500 is up to you it is a peptide for research and not intented for human consumption . I just had to share this info with you as I would not want anyone to get the wrong idea . For research your Dr. will have never heard of it most likely but then again if you were to research this compound on an animial and found out how posiitive the results the Dr. would not make $1000's of dollars off of your surgery

Good health to you with whatever your decission and I will leave you with this . I found out due to my GP lacking in TRT knowledge that if you stop and think Dr.'s are practicing medicine and they are not at all God's that know all ! Your health and well being is your responsibility and the Dr. is making a living and you are his source of income ? So research your procedure before you take any one man's word for cutting on you . . . . this is IMO

Damn I can't even read this tiny print even with my glasses after I post it ?

BuzzardMarinePumper i will reply properly to your post i am running on time now working tonight just back from the gym doing a quick log:

Got 80CC of my blood injected into hip labrum this morning, adductor and lower back solid very solid i hit the gym 3 hours later:

Legs: horizontal leg press 8 X 12 light just pump blood leg extention again very light 8 X 12

    delts: db press standing 35 pounds 8 X 8 upright rows 8 X 8 lateral raise 8 X 8 and shrugs 4 X 13 capillary

I am still working on my diet its hard i wont pretend its 23h a day lol but i will do it.

I spoke to an older men this morning he is 51 said he started training in is mid 40 3 times per week but now does it 6 times per week he said is body adapted to the workload and he is getting far better results when you lift weights you get far better fat loss then cardio alone sad that most people worst women do not understand this it can change a physique 150% just by lifting weights alone and you can get away with cheating a few meals too the after burn of a weight training workout is insane i have read like 48 hours after.

    Good stuff

this is my split for now as i said anyone interested can work it to is own needs, you can lift more but make sure to go for forms and control the weight at all time, slower motion and magic will happen.

I have no doubt about TB500 but its not for me, i am not in chronic pain anymore since my ligaments where repaired with prolotherapy.

I got a huge post in the rehab section on prolo PRP whole blood, i believe in this becaue it cured me completely i was afraid due to an idiot chiropractor i would have to get arthroscopy surgery due to a labral tear that idiot caused over adjusting me. But the whole blood injection seems to be doing wonders.

I have no special books on diet or such its all mombo jumbo to confused you, you want to lose weight eat less smaller portions more frequently, i dont beleive in 1g per pound of bodyweights this is for you to spend money on supplement i do very well with 100-120g of protein a day or less like 80g, at some point i did the 200-250g per day it cost me an arm and a leg and my shape was like today same.

I do beleive in carb cycling but this is your own experience and how your body response to it, i also did intermitent fasting trained after a 20h fast and i had plenty of glycogen, so must of what we are told is crap and lies to sell supplements.

When i was young i met a bodybuilder and i hung around with him a lot he was at plumbing school, he never took any supplements, when he wanted to lose weight he hate less, spagetti with meatballs no bread small portion, whole eggs, etc he drank milk after is training and he trained hard he did steroids equipoise and winstrol because he could get them easy and legit. It was that simple its not true that the body loses protein during the day the protein is being recycled all the time. A low carb diet if you are active and training will get you weak as hell, i could almost not train on low carb, i was so sore, i did 3 sets of a bench press and my chest was hurting and do, i was weak, light headed. If you train you need carbs and glycogen for energy, you can always replensish after your training with fruits and stuff.

I have so much more money in my pocket since i stop buying all theses supplements creatine that make you look bloated same with glutamine and whey protein that make you bloated........

After who wants to look soft holding on water......
