Erection quality/strength
I have been on TRT for about a year now. However, erection strength is poor, esp in the last couple of weeks. I am 59, not overweight, and in good health. I take 10mg Cialis before the act. It doesn’t seem to make much difference. I have noticed that morning woods are not very strong compared with a few months ago. And it takes a fair while to get to ejaculation.
Last blood test one month ago showed total T @ 650ng/dl, free T @ 406pmol/l (ideal range 500-700) and E2 @ 87 pmol/l (ideal range 85-120).
DHEA-S was 5 umol/l, (ideal range 9-13), Vit D 135 nmol/l (ideal range 125-155) and SHBG 44nmol/l. All seems okay to me. My protocol is 80gm T/wk (40 gm in the form of T enanthate sub-q twice weekly, 0.125gm azole twice/wk ie. 0.25gm/wk, 1000 iu HCG /wk (taken eod @ 300iu) 5000iu Vit D daily, nettle root for SHBG.
Can anyone suggest what might be the problem please? JH.

If you dont mind poking yourself with a pin every day or two and getting a nice dark tan, try the MELANOTAN II (LYOPHILIZED) 10MG from AR-R That stuff has me harder than I was in HS. In fact its more like I am in HS with the amount and strength of my erection.

Thanks for the tip - but it is banned here in Oz, so unfortunately it counts that option out. JH.

Thanks KJ - I have been taking 10mg 0-4 hours before a rendevous. I had taken 2 x 5mg/day before, but the effects did not seem very noticeable. It is fickle stuff is it not.. JH.

You could try running caber for a while.

Low DHEA is a marker for aging and for many disease states, so if I were you, I would supplement to improve it. It converts downstream to cortisol and all the sex hormones, and so it seems that it is biologically plausible that DHEA could be a part of the problem (and if not, there are other reasons to take it). I have read that men with erectile issues tend to have lower amounts of DHEA, but I haven't looked at studies. Google around a bit, but I would say this could be worth a try.
