Red meat causing pollups ?
My 5 year check up coming soon I have been eating chicken and fish for 5 years now I do eat red meat but not as much as I would like. The guys who eat red meat for there diet are huge.
Anyways has anyone ever heard that red meat causes pollups? My colonoscopy Dr told me to stay away from it because pollups are caused from red meat.... so I have but man I really want a steak or two
Hopefully some of our experts have some in put I am about to be 49 and still want to pack on muscle

Ive never heard of that. Even if it's true I'm sure it's if you eat it in excess. Most everything in moderation is fine. Even to much fish can be bad for you especially if they are high in mercury like tuna.
Although the results vary, studies from around the world have suggested that a high consumption of meat is linked to an increased risk of colon cancer. In all cases the worry is confined to red meat, not chicken.
