    Low Ejection Fraction

Since I turned 50, every time I go on a serious cycle after a few months my ejection fraction drops below 30%. Then my doctor gets all panicky, puts me on carvedilol & lisinipril, I come off my cycle, and within six months my EF is back up to 60%. This has happened three times already. This is seriously interfering with my size and strength and not to mention heart health. Does anyone know of a way to be on juice and at the same time keep EF above 50%?

I think a serious cycle may be out of the question. I've been through a range of issues with my heart, including my EF of being down to sub-15% at the worst point. I'm also on Coreg/carvedilol, Atacand, Maxzide. Was on Digoxin but never could hit a therapeutic level.
Had a biventricular pacemake . Found out I have a clotting disorder (Factor V Leiden). Got a bad staph infection(s) and had to have the pacer removed, left a nifty scar on my left pec. Finally my EF was @ 40+% at my last stress echocardiogram. Ayway, I finally found a Dr. that would prescribe a marginal TRT and for now I'm working with that.
I would just work my @ss off while maintaining a T level in the normal range and see how far you can get before I considered even a VERY mild cycle, I'll never run a "serious" cycle again. Just my .02.

...and my cardiologist was satisfied with an ejection fraction of 45%, so I keep plugging away at lifting trying to build muscle via TRT and HIT even though I'll be 51 this fall.
