Your nipples would be sensitive or sore, and there would be a hard lump (gland) behind the nipple.

I am @ Day 8 of Pheraplex atm... my nipples definately seem a little puffier than usual and I've been asking the same question... how can you tell... because I know I have some paranoia also. Am I JUST paranoid... don't know! They aren't real sensitive.. I mean I feel it when I touch them, but no more than before that I can say for sure. Not sore at all. There IS DEFINITELY a lump behind my nipple, about the size of a jelly bean... but that has been there for YEARS... as long as I can remember... and I know lots of guys who, when I've asked them, do have a lump like that (guys who don't even lift and definitely never juiced).

HOW DO YOU KNOW?! The paranoia keeps tempting me to quit the cycle after only 8 days, but I've already made some decent gains and really wanna finish up. I took 40mg Nolva one day when I was paranoid and some B6. Last night I started getting paranoid again... took 20mg Nolva... another 20mg this morning and 600mg B6. I'm going to up teh B6 dosage and stay on at least a couple more days. I could really use some advice right now... I don't even know if nolva on cycle is good, as alot of the gyno issues with PP that i've read about are progesterone/prolactin related. Tren as well, I've read, causes prog./prol. gyno and that Nolva can actually WORSEN the sides on-cycle... which makes me wonder if that's what Nolva would do on-cycle w/ PP.

    Help?

Speakerman, it sounds to me as though you are being a little paranoid. It is possible that you have a lump left over from pueberty. In fact I've heard statistics that state as many as 60% of men suffer from gyno (be it psuedo, or true). The Pheraplex may be aggrivating it a bit, as that's been known to happen. It's also possible that you are just experiencing water and fat retention that's associated with the use of androgens.

Ok, how to tell if you have gyno...I can't really say much more than i already have, but here it goes again. Your nipple will feel sore to the touch, not the areola itself, but underneath the areola. Like I said, you will have a lump underneath, size varies. Place your thumb and index finger on either side of the areola and squeeze in an attempt to feel behind the nipple. If you feel a lump you have gyno, which like I said before, might be left over from pueberty. If you need another opinion, see a doctor.

As far as Nolva on cycle, it doesn't seem to make sense why Nolva would worsen estrogen related symptoms when it's job is to render estrogen useless. I'm not saying it doesn't, I'm just saying it doesn't make sense to me. You could always try another AI, or an ATD.

Bottom line is though, if you guys are really worried about this, stop cycle and PCT. IMO you're body is not something to fvck around with.

And just to clarify, prolactin issues does not constitue as gyno. Gynecomastia is enlargement of the mammery gland in men.

Thanks... also, is there any explanation for puffiness being less in the morning and more later in the day?

The only possibility I could come up with is because your hormone levels reach their highest when you sleep. At least that's the case with testosterone , I'm not so sure it's the same for estrogen.
