Erection problem after PCT
I finished a cycle 6 months ago (test e), then did proper pct. within the last month I have had problems getting it up, I understand this is a possible problem right after the pct but months after? Before the cycle I had this problem too though, I always just figured I was super tired and it wasn't happening. Can I get some advice please?
Thanks a ton

get some bloodwork done and test levels checked, ask for the levels of free test to be checked also, have a talk with your dr/gp about this and discuss your worries with him, also i know its easy for me to say this but try and relax as thinking about it sometimes turns it into a psycological problem which can make things worse, i've suffered with ED in the past on more than one occasion once it was caused by juice which then developed into a psycological problem at a later date as i was worrying about performance ect but i beat it by trying not to think about it and trying to relax more when the time for loving was right. Also half a viagra can help as it helps give you a confidence boost, but if you decide to try it dont take it too often as you can becoma acusstomed to it and end up relying on it.
good luck with your problem and keep us postedLast edited by Blackster1975; 06-12-2008 at 07:25 AM.

thanks, so should I just call my doctor and ask to get blood work done? I think I'm going to go without telling him about the cycle.

when did you finish the cycle ? i told my dr about being on steroids before when i got erection problems and he gave me a right ear ache over it. But deffo make an appointment to see your dr telling him about your steroid use is your choice, i've been back since after other cycles when i've felt really tired due to my thyroid problem but never mentioned the steroid use.
Good luck mate i hope you get it sorted

bloodwork is the only way to know for sure if everything is back to normal.
give cialis a try as well if you need to.

I don't really have a primary doctor so is there a certain doctor I should go see to talk about this with and get bloodwork done? Thanks again

I just went to my normal dr mate, don't forget to tell him your worries and concerns, and get blood tests done to check for testosterone levels and also free testosterone levels, also try and relax and not let it bother you i know its hard like, i used to freak when it happened to me and it made things worse as it turned more into pyscological prob for me. I think i remember you saying you had problems before your cycle also if so i don't think your pct is to blame, have you ever done kegel exercises mate as doing them regular is supposed to be really good for erections, do some research on them and i'd advise you to start off lightly say 50-60 a day and build them up to say 100 a day when your comfortable with them.
Also if your gonna have a night of passion try taking half a viagra or a cialis pill it will take your mind off your propblem and help you perform, but if you decide to do that i wouldnt recomend taking it too regular as you can get dependent on it.
Good luck mate and keep me informed.Last edited by Blackster1975; 06-19-2008 at 01:24 PM.

subiedude03 you stated in original question that you thought it was just cause you were super tired, tell that to the dr when you see them as feeling tired all the time can be caused by a number of ailments, thyoid, iron deffinciency ect. I just want you to explain all these things and then they can all be checked for in your bloodwork tests. that way you rule them out.

Hey you said you donr recommend taking it too regular because it could cause dependency. Is that a physical dependency where you body needs it to get an erection, or a psychological dependency where since you got an erection with it, you think you need it?
how did test boosters cure you iron problems?

so you ok now subiedude, i'm glad to hear that, what was the dr's verdict then just an iron deficiency?.
RavensFan well i was using a generic vigara substitue called kamagra jelly and was using it quite often and found after a while that i got dependent on it and needed it, i think it was a psychological dependency more than a physical one.

I'm sorry to hear that RavensFan it took me quite a while to get over my dependency but i got there in the end with a lot of will, determination and a few embarassing moments with the ex if you get me.
The thing is to cut back as much as possible and try and have sex with your partner without the help of any substance, after a few successfull sessions it will help boost your confidence so much, there will be times you fail to do so and those times are very disheartening but you have to hang in there. If you do get a problem with your partner just try and relax as thinking about it only makes it worse believe me. I find that if you spend longer during foreplay, work each other up till you feel like your going to explode that helps a great deal as your not thinking about being a failure, you just need to try and relax and let things happen naturally, and if you get a problem don't make a big issue about it with your partner as thats a big no no. The slightest thought of failure can be all it takes to make you lose your erection, so just try and concentrate on the feelings of pleasure you feel when getting intimate.
Also do a google search for kegels and think about adding them to your daily activities as building strong a pc muscle can be really beneficial for better erections.
I hope you can get your self sorted mate good luck.

It definitely sounds like a pyschological problem mate, I know it's going to be a difficult decision having sex without using a substance, but it's the way to defeat your problem imo. Just dont put too much pressure on yourself, try and enjoy the moment, and remember if you do have a problem keeping an erection it doesn't mean your a failure.
I still feel that from time to time it could happen to me again in the future, but I feel I'm more equipt and knowledgeable to cope with it if it does happen.
I know it's easier said than done but I've been there done that and conquered the problem I once had.
Good luck mate I hope you get your self back on track

Yeah I don't think its a physical problem. More psychological and perhaps hormonal. The aspire doesnt make me have amazing erections, it just makes me able to have one because even then I still lose my erection sometimes when using it and it isnt the hardest, or no harder than when I get one without it.

Ravensfan have you just finished a cycle ?
Maybe should go see your DR get some tests done for testosterone ect, your right it could be hormonal, I would go see my DR and get some tests run just to rule things out, like I said to subiedude earlier in the post ED can be caused by numerous things it's best to get blood tests to rule things out, that way if its nothing physical causing it it's deffo psychological. Knowing what is causing it is part of the solution to getting over it.

No cycle...but my body feels as tho I just came off a cycle. My did get my hormones tested. My testosterone was in the mid 300s...which is odd for someone my age. My plan is to go through a PCT type protocol to see if I can jumpstart my HPTA and get everything working again.
I went to doctors...they all told me nothing is wrong with me.

Yeh I think your problem is psychological mate and your sub conciously worrying about losing your erection which is leading to performance anxiety, your problem can be resolved mate, I thought I would never get over my ED, and it made me depressed as f**k but I battled on and conquered it in the end. I would take some natural test enhancing supps see if they give you a kick.
