Clomid: Why initial high dosage!?
Okay, so the commonest protocol for Clomid therapy seems to be...
300mg on Day one, then...
100mg p/d for 1 week or so, then...
50mg p/d for 2-3 weeks
I was wondering exactly what the science/theory is behind that initial high dosage of 300mg (6 x 50mg tabs) on the 1st day of PCT???
(I suspect it's either to get ones plasma levels of Clomid up pronto and/or to shock/'jump start' the HTPA back into action.)
Anyway, the main reason I'm asking is that I have 48 x 50mg tabs at my disposal for PCT (Along with plenty of Nolvadex ), and I'm wondering whether it'd be better to take the initial high 300mg dose as illustrated above, or to just go with 100mg from day one, thus allowing me to run the Clomid therapy for an additional 4 days? Hope this makes sense.
Any feedback/advice appreciated!
Cheers y'all!Last edited by GrandmasterSpank; 05-15-2009 at 04:45 AM.

^ 100% agree with Swifto!
Especially with the part of some Idiot just making this "theory" up.
Read my Sticky Spanky.
I go into this topic a bit.
