PCT: Test Cyp and Deca cycle

First of all I know I should know all this by now and no doubt there'll be plenty wanting to dish out abuse which I probably deserve but would really appreciate some advice.

So I'm 20 years old, and am nearing the end of a Test cyp and Deca cycle. Been taking 400mg test and just under 300mg deca per week. I'll be sure to carry on the test for a further 2 weeks after my last deca injection. Basically, apart from knowing PCT shouldn't start until 2 weeks after last test shot, I know very little about the rest. After reading about a little (not enough obviously I know) would I be right in thinking the best PCT for this cycle would involve Clomid, Nolvadex and HCG ? I read a site that also advised IGF-1 but that was in a test and deca cycle that also involved dianabol for the first few weeks of the cycle so not sure if thats needed (I also thought IGF would only be needed if I had been using growth hormone ). Arimidex has popped up once or twice too but the trio I mentioned initially seems to be the favoured 3 for this cycle type?

While I would not give a 20 yr old cycle advice PCT is a little different so here goes.

You would be better off starting you HCG ASAP while still on and not using it during PCT. Assuming when you start you had say 4 weeks left on your cycle and had been on for 6 wks then take an initial dosage of around 1000 IU's then 3 days later 1000 then go to the normal dosage of 250 twice per wk till one week past your last shot of cyp (you may hear varied opinions on how long is best to run the HCG after the last dose. Considering how long you have been on without it and how long the Cyp and Deca will stay in your system this is my opinion).

I would suggest running the Cyp for 3 weeks after the last shot of Deca to give the deca more time to clear before dropping the test.

14-16 days after you last shot of Cyp start your PCT. I would read the thread on PCT by Swifto and follow his advice for a PCT for this type of cycle.

I am just wondering, why would he run Cyp for 3 weeks after Deca, since Deca needs 21 days to clear while Cyp needs 18days, so its 3 days difference not 3 weeks!

The Deca will shut down your natural T and keep it suppressed for a few weeks. You will need the supplemented T for that period.
