Finishing up 1st Cycle ever. Going to take 8 weeks off and do a 2nd cycle. PCT?
I'm 3 weeks away from finishing up my first cycle. I'm very happy with the results so far. I was skinny fat weighing in at 172 w/ 20% body fat (according to fancy smancy scale) when this whole thing started. I've not missed a meal or a workout once. I even got mild fevers with the vet-grade winny, but pushed through anyways. I'm now approaching 190 with about 15% body fat. I'm on Kris Gethin's 12-week Hardcore Transformation if anyone has tried it. It's fantastic. You can find it at bodybuilding.com.
I know some will say this isn't a good cycle, but I trusted my friend who's been doing this for quite a while. My cycle consisted of vet-grade winny and equipoise .
Winstrol (Stanozolol ) 75mg every other day
Equipoise (Boldenone Undecylenate) 400mg/week (broken up into 2 injections)
Anyways, I found this excerpt of this site:
An extended period of time will be at least 12 weeks; if you’re going to be off cycle for less than 12 weeks, promoting things like testosterone stimulation is counterproductive since you’ll be suppressing it again shortly. Of course, if you are only going to be off for a short period of time, we have plans for you too.
How long should my off period be if I plan to do another cycle soon?
If my off period is less than 12 weeks, isn't PCT counter-productive?

I know I know ghettoboyd. Sounds stupid and one would think it'd be that obvious.
But if you study the science and mechanisms behind what is actually happening in your body, you may find that it could be counter productive if you plan to suppress the natural testosterone production again so soon. Of course if you're not going to do another cycle for awhile, why the hell wouldn't you do a PCT??? But that's not what I"m asking.
Think of it as putting your testes into overdrive (which is what essentially PCT is.. you're overloading them with LH to stimulate more testosterone production). Then...right around 8 weeks they start acting normal again, producing the right amount of testosterone then BAM!!! You suppress them again with heavy duty AAS. That's quite a tremendous turn around. It'd actually be better NOT to do a PCT in between. However, after the 2nd cycle, it is absolutely critical and extremely important to do a proper PCT.

i have no basis for this opinion other than personal experiance but i would prefer to take my chances starting another cycle soon after i recovered from pct then to just keep suppressing/shuting myself down for longer with back to back cycles or one long cycle or whatever your plan may be...i feel the longer i am shutdown the longer the chance will be for my recovery so why not get your levels back to normal before starting another cycle?...what is the hurry?...

Sounds like your scared to come off bro. It's not that bad if u keep your diet clean and workout just as hard. I've actually put on weight and have gotten leaner during my pct( after an initial drop off in weight, 192 to 226 down to 204 and now am at 210 lean and mean. I was holding water.

Hey GorillaNuts... ya that's a valid assumption. I think I'm just more afraid of testicular desensitization. I've read sources including the Anabolics 9th ed that illustrate how going back and forth can be very hard on the testes.
Here's the real reason I'm even asking: I'm leaving in October for a couple of weeks to Mexico... well if I'm on a cycle then, I can't bring my gear with me. So I have to plan it right to where my second cycle ends right before... which shortens my time in between cycles. Apparently, turning your testicles off, on, and then back off again so soon is really hard on the body. I guess I could just lengthen my current cycle from 8 weeks to 13 weeks and then take a long PCT so that my second cycle would be upon my return. What is your cycle anyways? But yeah that's probably the best thing to do. Just run your pct 5-6 weeks if you think you need it.
Getting back to normal after 13 shouldn't be too bad, 12 is what's recommended. Depending on what you have been taking. . If your on hcg that should help a lot too.

Probably not a good idea to only have 8 weeks in between cycles, especially with a long ester like EQ. That will be in your system for another 3-4 weeks, so you'd really only have ~4 weeks clean in between cycles. I'd say stop the cycle either now or extend it a bit. Do a proper PCT, then go on vacation and maybe cycle when you get back.
Also congrats on the progress. You notice any issues cycling without test?

Looks like I'm going to go ahead and extend my cycle from 8 to 13 weeks, then do a good length PCT.
Thanks BenHadasack (lol nice alias). No issues at all with cycle. Just solid lean mass gains. Not insane amount of mass gains, but I didn't expect more than a good 10-15 pounds.
I did get a few mild fevers with the vet-grade winny, but that passed within 24 hours. Ibuprofen helped a lot as well. My strength has improved tremendously! Also, I can tell the EQ has increased my red blood cells from just the color of my skin in areas like on my chest. Always has a warmness to it in appearance. Much more vascular as well. Veins everywhere. Like a freaking road map coming up from my groin into my abdomen. Good stuff.
Next cycle will be Test/Deca starting in November.
