good stats for my height and weight??

hey guys, just curious to see if these are decent stats for my weight/size/age.

im 19 (ill be 20 this weekend) im 5'5'' and 140lbs.

    max bench 225x1
deadlift 315x2 no hand wrapps. i havent tried heavier yet
squat 285x3 (before ankle injury) we'll see what is is when i get better.

i feel like im built for deadlifting b/c im short and have real long arms. it seems so workout for me pretty well i think?

    thanks

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but no, those aren't even mediocre.

They're a good place to start, but you're in no danger of impressing anyone.

Edit - oops thought it said 240.

Those are lots better for 140 (height doesn't matter), but still not stellar.

A really good place to start, if you can keep your weight down.

Hang in there man. Numbers look pretty good. How long have you been powerlifting??? You're a young pup. Most people don't even begin to tap into their "Real Strength" unitl their 30s....so you've got plenty of time to train and gain strength. You'll do fine. Just stick with it, be patient, and never compromise form for what you think is extra strenght. Keep us posted as your strength progresses.

Pretty decent lifting for a 19 yo 140 lber. And I am guessing thats all raw too? The WABDL world record DL for 16-19 yo 148 class is 540 lb. And for the same age and weight class for bench 392. Now those are equipped, and fvcking WORLD records so dont get discouraged, just throwing that shit out there.

and no, those records arent held by the same person either. Those are specialist in each lift. If you feel you have the bodytype for DL try to concentrate more on that lift if you want records (state records will be much easier to get, so something to shoot for).

    thanks

thanks for the input guys. i have used hand wrapps but not recently. as for powerlifting... all of those #'s are on my 3-4set (6-10reps on the sets before). im trying to hit 350 in DL and go up from there. my ankle is still a little iffy so im scared to push it on the DL's and i havent even squatted in over a month im trying out that german 10sets lifting program but once thats over im going to do more deadlifts and ill see what i can pull. im using the conventional stance if that matters? also would hand wraps be legal in a raw competition?

    thanks again

i started training at about 135 pounds or so but i was around 15..i might post before and after pictures just for laughs haha and my lifts are nowhere near that now..i JUST started deadlifting and squatting after a few years but i got my bench up to repping 225 about 8 times..not bragging just using myself for comparison so i think @ 140 those lifts are fine

    Newguy,

Just so you know....you can't use hand wraps for DL in any type of competition raw or not. Not even the equiped meets. Same with gloves. You can not where gloves in any type of competitions. Why would you want to any way??? LOL> Love my rough hands. Keep it up Bro. You'll do great w/ patients and hard work.
