    mike miller 1220 squat

    i was told miller hit a a record squat last wk, if i know how mike squats it was probably high, but it still is a lot of weight

    I've seen about 30, 1000lb attempts (maybe 10 successful). I used to be (back in the late 90s) a National Ref for the ADFPA (now USAPL). I can tell you with absolute certainty I would not have given any a white light on depth. That being said, just being able to hold 1230 up is incredible, let alone unlock the knees. I would be crushed under that weight and I'm a fair squatter.

    Not trying to discount anyone's efforts, it just seems like some organizations have placed more value on "mega weights" and less on strict form.

    The closest white I would have given would have been to Goggins at the arnold last year.

    I could be mistaken, but I am pretty sure that he weighs a crap load less than Jeff Lewis. With that said, it is all the more impressive that he could get spotters with enough balls, let alone handle the weight.

    mike used to weigh 385lbs but iheard he lost alot of weight, his deadlift increased because of the weight he lost, it is a good thing his dead was terrible, i may have been able to out pull him when he was heavy and i weigh 198lbs
