Powerlifter Jay Passed Away Sun Night
Bros sorry to be the one to bring this bad news but former moderator Powerlifter Jay passed away sun night.
For you guys who dont know we(myself--Tapout-- ,Freak 19,Powerlifter Jay,Fulback 40,Wolverine and three others who at this time I cant remember their screen names--sorry bros)all used to train together and spent alot of time on the boards.
Powerlifter Jay was well known in the powerlifting ranks and held some impressive lifts--he had a 625lb bench,a 827 lb squat and deadlift in the high 600s in the 242lb class. He was very knowledgeable about powerlifting and helped many bros here on the boards.
He hurt his shoulder over a year & 1/2 ago and everything went down hill for him after that in which he got involved in some bad stuff which ruined his life--I'm sorry to say it became to much for him.
Jason was a good guy and a friend of mine for about 11 years--I never saw this coming--I thought about him often the last year but could never get ahold of him--I will miss him and so will many others.
Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as he had two young daughters.

Jay had his demons as we all know but I never saw this coming. Taking your own life is something only the person doing it can understand. I always thought the world of Jay his determination in the gym and in life was infectious at the least, unfortunately the same all or nothing attitude went in EVERYTHING he did. I remember "MY STEEL" and then the weights got crazy. I'll miss him. God Bless ya brother. I hope you finally found the peace you were searching for. Everyone else please pray for the 2 daughters he left behind.
