    Update on new squat suit!

Well, in my last thread I was looking for a single ply suit...

I decided to get the single ply Titan NXG + super suit in "meet" fit. I received it today and was very impressed with the thickness and feel of the material, I'd have to say very canvas like. I couldn't hold out and went to the gym today to try it out...this suit is VERY tight, took me about 30 min to get on WITH suit slippers. But once on it felt pretty good. On to the weights. I could just barely break with 405. 475 was easier to break with and flew up. Put on my meet opener of 505 and got to depth pretty easy, but got thrown out of my groove for a not very pretty rep. LOL. But I still got it.

So far I'm impressed and am looking foward to some soon to be PR's!!! I should also add this suit has great stopping power, but not as much rebound as I would like. I don't know, maybe I still need to find the groove of it?

Ya man, thanks! I tried to dead in it the other day. OMG what a nightmare it was to get down to the bar, can you recommend a single ply conventional dead suit? lol.

yeah, you cant dead in that suit, in the single ply nxg +(not the super plus) alot of guys were able to squat and dead using the same suit, titan now has a new dead suit, very much like the old marathon deadlift suits(which are still the best, but they dont make them anymore and are very hard to come buy.also they are banned in the usapl because of sponsorship bullcrap)the titan dead suits come in conventional orsumo. also another beast is the metal deadlifter for conventional deads(it is single ply) or the single ply pro squater for sumo. the metal suits are more expensive. i would go with titan, what is your weight class? i may know somebody selling a used titan sumo suit. i think it is for the 181-165lb weight classes.

The only thing I hate about being a freak of nature is that conventional sizes don't apply to me anymore. Stuff I wear has more X's on the tag than a porno warehouse. Damn you halflings! lol

Anybody that you know of every tried NXG in triple ply for the squat?

My Hardcore takes about 30 minutes to get on. As you get tighter suits, it gets so hard to get them suckers on that you contemplate hanging the straps from hooks and trying to get it on that way. SERIOUSLY!

I compete at 198. hmmm, I wonder if that suit will fit? Wait, I just read that it's a sumo stance suit. Damn. Maybe I should try learning the sumo stance, lol...conventional just feels so much more natural to me, even though I squat real wide. Thanks for the info on the Titan deadlift suit, I think I'll give it a try before my next meet. I've got the southeastern cup (USPL) this sat. dec. 2nd. I'll let you know how I do. I think I'm just going to dead in my old inzer blast or just do it raw for this one.
