powerlifting comps in UK?
I would like to enter a powerlifting comp in the UK. I do not use suits ect so would be looking for a raw meet if there is such a thing. I really have no experience in this field at all so i just dont know where to start finding out about which comp to even enter. Any ideas guys?
At the moment im squatting 270K Dead 260K bench 170K I weigh just under 100K. Are those figures ok or am i gonna be last and look like a twat?

go to this site. www.powerliftingwatch.com you can find a contest anywhere in the world using their data base. alot of federations offer raw divisions, that is how i used to compete, it is alot of fun. you have good numbers as well, you will definately be a top competitor in your weight class.

Thanks guys.
Goose - yes will still compete in BB but im going to do a comp later in the year as my immune system is crap at the moment and i want to get back nice and healthy before i start dieting for comp, I think it would be a health risk for me at the moment. Def let me know when your coming to Brighton and ill come train with you.
Doc - Thx bud ill check out the site and see whats what. Glad my lifts look OK!

i competed in uk for 13 years finishing off 100 kg class, which you would be in, dont mean to discourage but at british championships level you wouldnt be competitive with those weights, benches coming in at 230kgs+ etc. there are various divisional championships all year round, just google powerlifting UK. good luck.
