WHy is a raw bench so different to a suited or asisted bench?

Why is a raw bench so much lower than a bench with a shirt and wraps?

because the shirts are made in such a way that limits arm movement.. all strength aside eq lifting is too different to compair to raw.. not saying one is better than the other. its just different..

two guys could lift the same raw, but then put on shirts and be split by 50lbs.. same goes in reverse

There are some lifters that have great unequipped bench press. Scott Mendelson , Nick Winters, Jeremy Hoostra , Art Jones, etc.

The raw bench press won't have the assistance from the bench press shirt. So, majority of the time, equipped lifts will be higher.
