Bench Press Competitions!
I was just wondeirng if u guys knew anything about lifting for 16 year olds? I currently weight in at 182. I am 5'10 and i bench 285. Whats weird is that i will go about 3 weeks straight and not gain anything on bench and then boom i gain 20 pounds. I find that very weird. But hey i love it. Could u guys please tell me if i have a chance in competition ? I am only doing Protein at the time. Thanks. Tyler

Hey bro. Good to see young lifters. PRETTY much if you enter 181 class with that bench you'll win your competition, most likely.
Go to some fed website's and look up in your state what the records are.
Do you know what fed's you have around you lift in: USAPL, APA, APF, WABDL, etc....

competition level is whatever you make it. You do not have to break records or win competitions in order to enter. Just find a comp and do it. There will always be someone stronger than you out there. That is a good bench to start with though. AAPF and APF are good feds in Georgia. Not sure of AAPF web site though. Try www.apa-wpa.com or www.hugeiron.com . Its the end of the year so more comps will be posted after the new year.
