deadlifts and spacing
whats up guys?
ok got a question for you, typically i deadlift w/ a little more than shoulder width apart spacing w/ my heels/legs, the farther you bring your stance out does it raise you poundage up?
today i saw a powerlifter at the gym w/ his legs almost touching the squating rack sides!? of course maintaining your balance is more important than wieght, but which is better closer or farther?
thx for your replies

There are 2 different ways to do it. Sumo, which is legs far apart and hands on the inside of your legs, and then the traditional where you legs are a little closer and your hands on the outside of them. The sumo style relies more on your legs and the traditional more on your lower back. Most powerlifters chose by what is stronger for them, lowerback or legs.
