    difference in divisions

    What is the difference between RAW. Single-ply and multiply-ply equiptment?

    It depends on the actual federation you are competing in. But generally, Raw is lifting in nothing but a belt and singlet, Single-ply is exactly what it say, you are permitted to wear a single ply squat suit, bench shirt and DL Suit. Typically no briefs under your suit. Multi-ply is also what it says, at least 2 plys, layers of material in your suits or shirts, typically briefs are allowed under your suits. Also typically in either single or multi-ply divisions things like knee wraps/sleeves, and wrist wraps are allowed. Once again, figure out which federation you will be competing in and read their rules.

    Correction:

    Most RAW feds allow standard length knee and wrist wraps. Otherwise everything else written above are correct.

    Ok good. I was getting neevouse cause I thought I wasn't going to be able to use wraps. So mainly raw consists of wrist and knees wraps and a belt.?
    Someone told me if I use that bench blast shirt it can add 200lbs to my bench. Is that true?

    RAW = belt, knee and wrist wraps only.

    Don't be fooled about using gear. With practice you can add a lot of poundages to your lifts, but geared lifting and raw lifting are two completely different sports. Like any other sport, you have to 'learn' gear before it can become effective. No one can put a bench shirt on without practice and expect to add huge poundages to their lifts.
