What if im not sore
Hi I was wondering if eny one could tell me why I don't get sore eny more. I work hard and go to the gym 4-5 times a week and I have read some articles that say not being sore is not important and others that say it means I have not fully recovered.

If your intensity is high enough and the weights heavy enough you should be sore afterwards. Take a look at your form too. If your being really strict try cheating.... and vice versa. Change your workout up some. That should make you sore.

I would be sore right after training than not hurt at all in couple hours. Than two days later that body part would start hurting again. After I changed the way I train my muscles hurt for 2-3 days straight. Not only do I hurt more but my strength is growing by leaps and bounds.

Try adding a small amount of weight, cheat if it comes to it, or even add a single rep...anything to present new stress to the muscle.

Being sore shouldnt be the only indicator of having an effective session.

What sluggo said. Being sore is a terrible indicator. Especially if your goal is strength and lifting more weight. Usually it's the higher rep high volume stuff that will get you sore anyways, and that doesn't really mean you had a good session or will get stronger by any means.
