When is a powerlifters/strongmans prime?
I always believed it was somewhere between 38-45 for both powerlifters/strongmen and bodybuilders as long as they are still training, but recently been reading articles about how men become significantly weaker once they hit 36-37 due to test levels dropping. Is this true?
THanks for help

I was at my strongest ever at 35-37 without being on AAS. Natural levels start to decline around mid 30's, so I could see how there could be articles stating that.

the order of decay as one ages:
1) one's endurance
2) one's speed
3) one's eye hand coordination
4) one's strength
more or less.......
....so I should be good for a few more years!

Really endurance before speed? Sprinters peak at 22-25, Marathon runners dont peak untill they are 35, 37 for woman.

I personally feel like Ive gotten stronger as I'm getting older. Im 34 now and my strength is better and my endurance is too. More aches and pains in the morning but performance wise I'd crush me at 25.

I'm 53 now and doing the same or more weight than I was at 30-35. You should learn how to train effectively and efficiently as you get older. Usually life events get in the way as you age.
