Play By Play of the Olympia
-- Chris Cormier -- Has been a lot sharper -- Seems to be enjoying himself -- Great shape. But just not deeply cut in the way he needs to be. May struggle to be in the top 6.
__________________
According to announcers coleman looks 20 lbs lighter then last year, he's ripped but their appears to be something wrong with his left lat.
-- Ronnie Coleman -- Legs full and shredded. Maybe 20 pounds lighter than last year. Still totally massive. Hams and glutes ripped. Still looks to have a problem with his left lat. Could be sharper. -- Has not yet slammed the door as he's done in the last few years--
Ronnie keeping his stomach under control, but he's having to work at it -- Head to toe Cutler could take this round -- Relaxed comparisons -- First call out -- Coleman Cutler Schlierkamp -- Gunter dwarfing Ronnie -- Cutler Coleman comparible in size -- From the side Ronnie flat in the chest --
Culter has won 5 out of 8 poses. tie most muscular, ronnie has front and back dbl bi.
Coleman isn't as sharp as he was in earlier comparisons with Cutler.
Ronnies back double bicep is fading.
Flex judges are saying Coleman is fading, and at this point, they'd get the Olympia to Cutler.
Ronnie and Cutler on their own for the final callout. Cutler looking much more polished.Last edited by Gorgoroth_; 10-15-2005 at 10:34 PM.

Hm , they're saying federov is big, but not as cut as he was during the 2004 russian grand prix.

____________
" Darrem Charles has an amazing bicep peak, his front lat spread is better than ever! needs to bring his legs up. "
-- Jay Cutler -- Jay is sharp and full -- Back double biceps much improved -- Although there is an inbalance between his left and right thigh -- His best ever -- Abs are deep – Stomach noticeably distended
Although, some announcers are saying J is back in 2001 condition.
--Ronnie Rockel -- WOW! He's as sharp as a tack. His tan is a bit off-putting. Has great proportion and detail. Great abs. -- Great shape. But just not deeply cut in the way he needs to be. May struggle to be in the top 6. -- If the new advisory is in force he should make the top 10

-- Mustafa Mohammad -- Legs are ridiculous. He's hard and full and just a mass of muscle. Massive back. Should be in contention for a top 10 spot.
Baddel seems to be getting better and better as time goes on.

Its possible.... that, or Flex mag. and Milos Sarcev are trying to over hype the competition so more people will buy the PPV.

In the front comparisons, Ronnie is just too dominant, his legs, too big for Jay, waist and stomach much smaller than Jay's - too me it looked as though Jay's legs flattened out too much - they were very flat and markedly smaller than his upper body. I think he probably flattened out and then tried to excessively carb back up because this was the first time I have ever seen Jay's stomach bloated - very surprising.
From the side is where Ronnie took over with complete domination as his side shots were in another league. What did surprise me was that this show was the first time Jay was able to hang with Ronnie (from the waist up) in the back shots. Jay's rear double bicep was impressive and has very much improved - but Ronnie's is still better. However, from the side and front - Ronnie is still just too overpowering for anyone at this point in time.
It was a good battle, but there is no doubt that Ronnie is clear cut. You can look at photos all you want, but in person at the show today - every person I spoke to still thinks Ronnie is light years ahead of the pack - just the total package and a look that is different from everyone else on stage. I'm not taking anything away from Jay- he's still a great athlete and the time off helped him to make several improvements, but he just didn't come out with the impact I thought he would have with taking the year off. I just would have liked to have seen his trademark abs and thighs - that would have made a real battle.
a interview i just read seems ronnie isnt dropping it to jay like many say

10-15-2005, 10:31 PM #23
flexonline.com says they would give the prejudging to cutler. What has changed? Is ronnie fading?
-
10-15-2005, 10:34 PM #24
Ronnie isn't fading. Jay is pissed, Gustavo is talking smack, and Ronnie is calm and collected. . .
-
10-15-2005, 10:34 PM #25
Badell Won

In fact he is standing perfectly upright...if you compare his stance to jay's you'll see that his knees are hyper-extended (indicating he's fully upright)..while jay's are flexed (i.e. bent)...
Ron's always been one of the poorest posers on the pro-stage. Still, there's no way J's beating him
