    BAC Water I ordered was expired

    So I just ordered some Bacteriostatic water from AR-R and it arrived on 03-18-2013. Written on the bottle was "EXP1NOV2012". So they sent me expired bac water?

    My first question is: What?!? C'mon!!!

    My second question is: Is this still usable and how will it affect my research?

    I have BW that im using that is 6mos exp. Not sweat at all.

    Did you by chance get in on the special they were having a couple of weeks ago where it cost under $2 a bottle? If so that was for expired Bac water but it is still good for a long time. I would not have any issues using it up to 1 year past if stored properly.

    No, I didn't get it on the special, I added it to my other orders during the 15% off deal. Not too concerned about this, as like you said it's just sterile (hopefully) water. Just makes me a little concerned about other future orders I may have. Hopefully my rats don't get infected. Not gonna bother sending it back or anything.
