IPT 141 or Bremelanotide, is an isomer of the popular Peptide MT2. It was noted in researching MT2 that many male research subjects experienced the side effects of multiple spontaneous erections and enhanced libido. Further study and research was able to isolate the portion of the MT2 peptide chain responsible for causing this effect. Once isolated it became known as IPT-141.

Further research on IPT-141 yielded some interesting results. While the effects were obvious and undeniable, the mechanism of action for these effects was largely unknown. Further research indicated it activated the melanocortin receptors MC1r and MC4R within the central nervous system, most notably within the hypothalamus in the brain. This made IPT-141 very different from any other compound researched with regards to treating various forms of sexual dysfunction. Unlike PDE5 inhibitors which have a clear cut physiological effect (Inhibiting PDE5 thus increasing NO2 causing vasodilation), IPT-141 exerts its effects via the central nervous system. The initial thought was that IPT-141's effects were strictly neurological, however its impact on the above mentioned melanocortin receptors revealed that it has a specific physiological effect of limiting ischemia, which is blood flow restriction to the extremities.

Research subjects were initially administered IPT-141 via a nasal spray however this route of administration resulted in an inexplicable increase in blood pressure. Further research exploring different routes of administration uncovered that if IPT-141 was administered via subcutaneous injection, the undesirable side effect of hypertension was not observed. The elimination of this adverse side effect rekindled research in this peptide. This second generation of study of IPT-141 revealed some very interesting things.

IPT-141 Exhibits the same potent libido enhancing effects in both males and females. In addition to being effective in both male and female subjects, it was also proven effective in an extremely high percentage of those administered IPT-141. Even cases of extreme sexual dysfunction were able to be restored to normal to above normal sexual function by administration of IPT-141. Also of note, due to different mechanisms of action, IPT-141 was able to be safely and successfully administered alongside a PDE5 inhibitor such as tadafil (cilais), or sildenafil (Viagra) with compounded profound sexual enhancing effects. It was observed that nearly all research subjects administered IPT-141 demonstrated a significant increase in sexual desire and genital arousal.

In a study circa 2006 which ranked positive effects from low to high (high being most positive) The researchers observed a ranking of high for quality of erection, duration of erection, initiation of erection, onset time of arousal, and cardiovascular safety. Across the board IPT-141 showed superior efficacy to any libido enhancing sexual dysfunction treatment including PDE5 inhibitors! This shows profound promise for research in subjects unable to take PDE5 inhibitor due to medicinal or physical adverse interactions.

When combined with PDE5 inhibitors the libido enhancing and sexual performance effect in subjects capable of being administered both was astounding. Researchers observed the highest levels of improvement in every area from sexual desire to sexual arousal and sexual performance. One researcher commented that IPT-141 in addition to it limiting effects on blood flow restriction, changes how research subjects respond to the entire possibility of sexual stimulus.

First dose of 1.5 noticed some flushing of my face and very mild nausea. I didn't detect any noticable libido increase, but may try again this Friday. I don't aways react to meds as most do. We'll see.

edit to add that I didn't detect a libido increase with MTII either, but boy did I get tan.

ok, just did 3mg last night for a swingers NYE party. Still no side effects even. I did fine with all the 'festivities' last night, but i don't think IPT-141 had much to do with it. Maybe this is for those that really have LOW libido and it bumps it up a bit to 'normal', but I was hoping for something that bumps already horny people through the roof of horniness... Also looking for something that helps me cum faster, because anorgasmia is a real problem. I'm doing 200mg/week of Deca (nor-19) so I'm on Prami, and I'm all the way up to 1mg per day of the stuff, and still am having the anorgasmia issues...

I upped my dose to almost 2 mgs. and had really crazy wood all night long. It was like I was a teen again. Unfortunately, the wife was fast asleep, so nothing constructive was accomplished. I need to figure out how to time the dose so I can make good use of it. It seems like it takes about 4 hours to be really effective for me. Maybe dose on a weekend morning so I have all day to experience the fun.

My understanding is to mix the 1ML of Bac water into the peptide, mix slowly and then draw from there.

I'm not sure what the empty vial is for. You can reconstitute the peptide in the original vial just as you have explained. That works fine for me.

Definitely a fun compound to experiment with, me and the wife have used it on several occasions with successful and pleasing outcome. Be aware if used in close succession (Monday Wed, Friday) you will need increased amounts of the compound for desired results (I guess like a lot of compounds lol). BE AWARE if used in rapid succession it can also disrupt the natural stabilization of your libido and it can take many weeks to return back to normal.

You may be looking for more people, but I did use some again last Friday evening. Confirmed to me that 2 mg. works quite well (for me). Wood like a teenager, all night long. Even got a bit sore, if you know what I mean. I don't think my wife would ever agree to give it a try because of her "cautious" attitude about all such things, but I'm sure it would be lots of fun.

In terms of timing, I may try it again on a Saturday morning so I can enjoy the effects when the wife is awake. Of course, she may be left wondering what the heck got into me if the effect is the same as on my Friday evening trials. Or, celebrating Valentine's Day with some champagne and PT141...hmmm. That's a thought.

Oh...add that I am late 50's. The effect is very pronounced compared to "normal".

I like to use peps within 30 days but im sure its still sterile etc if you used bac water to reconstitute. If anything it may have lost potency. Id still use it personally.

It can take a while. At least 4 hours for me. The flushing and mild nausea come right away. It takes some planning to get the timing right. Yes, sub-Q. I get so wired up that I have trouble sleeping, so injecting in the evening isn't all that great a plan for me.

Im referring to mg. Yes you use a slin pin. The easiest way imo is to use the units on the pin to rreconstitue. Use 100 units. Then 15units =1.5mg.

Well, that would be interesting. Not sure how you slin pin your wife and not wake her up, not to the sort of "ethical" issues of doing so. I don't think my wife would go for this voluntarily. But the fun potential is there. Maybe you go for a discussion about this with your wife over lots of wine...

Even if you were able to pin her without waking her, she's going to notice the effect even if she's asleep. She will be wondering what the heck is wrong in my opinion. If we get to the beach without our grown kids this year, maybe I bring this up over wine. Fun experiment.

I keep PT141 handy. Works great and I'm 65. Learned I have to take it several hours in advance and only take .5. When I take full dose(1) I have erection all night and morning. Hard to sleep with major hard on. Wife gets a little unhappy when it won't go away and I want to keep going. No way I can get her to try it, she thinks any treatment even hormones is very detrimental to health. I understand you don't want to overdo anything but believe in HRT. She gets mad if she finds I'm taking or injecting anything.
