    GHRP-6: More than Just GH!

GHRP-6, or Growth Hormone Releasing hexaPeptide 6, is labeled as a Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide but it is more accurately referred to as a Growth Hormone Secretagogue. A secretagogue is a substance that causes another substance to be secreted. Most often in our research context this effect is usually exerted via a receptor site which causes the release of a substance via a particular gland.

For example GHRP-6 acts upon the Ghrelin receptor, binding to it, this elicits a pulse pattern release of GH from the Pituitary Gland. An interesting fact regarding GHRP-6, however, is that its benefits go above and beyond that of the significant benefits of an increased GH pulse type release.

In addition to the increased GH benefits observed in our research of improved bone density, increased muscle mass, decreased adipose (fat) tissue, faster hair and nail growth, heightened immune system function, increased circulatory system function, and improved cholesterol levels, GHRP-6 appears to have a host of benefits on its own.

Its action upon the ghrelin receptors appears to improve insulin sensitivity and improve carbohydrate (glucose) metabolism in research subjects. It has also been shown to have a positive effect on healthy cell proliferation and mitigation, preventing and even reversing internal organ failure in the digestive and cardio-vascular system. It has shown a protective effect in the liver believed to be due to its promotion of igf release which directly occurs in that organ. It also has some observed neuro-protective and neurological benefits as well. It seems to decrease the effect of oxidative stress in the brain and increase cognitive abilities such as focus, memory and concentration. It has also been observed to actually improve heart function; this was measured via left ventricular ejection fraction, a standard for clinically measure heart efficiency and function.

Quite often in our research it is easy to become single minded in our focus of the benefits observed and desired. GHRP-6 is a prime example of this. Of course we are hoping to observe an increase in muscle mass and a decrease in adipose tissue. These first and foremost are immediately noticeable and observable, pronounced effects, obvious in a research subject. However when we take a step back and look at the big picture quite often there are overall health and wellness benefit taking place that are far greater than those physical changes being observed. These benefits must also be considered in contributing as they do to a better overall quality of life and also quality of physical capacity as well as appearance.

GHRP-6 has a profound effect on GH secretion in research subjects. It has a host of benefits which occur as a direct result of that. It also has a host of benefits that appear to be specific to it and its administration. GHRP-6 benefits can also be compounded and maximized by combining it with a Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone analog such as Sermorelin or CJC-1293 or CJC-1295. The combination of a GH Secretagogue and a GH Releasing Hormone significantly increases the GH pulse by the pituitary gland. Exponentially increasing the benefit observed in our research subjects.

So when considering GHRP-6 in your research, consider the many GH induced benefits as well as the individual benefits it has to offer your research subjects. Also strongly consider the addition of a GHRH such as Sermorelin or one of the CJC’s to compound those benefits exponentially.

Good luck with your research >> GHRP-6 5mgs

I have been considering running this along with sermorelin. I ran it with cjc-1293 and was fairly pleased but after researching further I thin it might be even more effective with Sermorelin. I am considering even trying GHRP2 and Sermorelin but I know the GHRP6 works for me so Im thinking why switch. Anyway thanks for the informative info arr!
