Catholics are not supposed to eat meat on fridays during lent (40 days long). This tends to be a big problem for bodybuilders unless you want to fulfill these needs with only MRP's and cheeses. Here is the alternative: THE BEST FREAKIN TOFU YOU WILL EVER HAVE!

Let me start by saying typically I HATE tofu with a passion, but since it is friday and I can't eat anything else, I bought these ingredients and gave it a try.

Spicy Asian Tofu

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cals: 490-550 (depending on amount of brown rice used)
Prot: 53 g
Fat: 7.5 g

8 oz Tofu = 1 package "chik'n strips" tofu (tofu that looks like chicken)
Szechuan Sauce
Lite Teriyaki sauce
Onions (and peppers, or whatever you want to add for flavor)


Start by adding a small amount of oil to a frying pan, crisp the tofu and onions until it has a somewhat crispy texture.
Add a dash of szechuan sauce to taste (note that the dish will turn out spicier than the sauce because of ingredients in the tofu)
Add slightly more teriyaki sauce than the amount of szechuan.
Toss occasionally to mix around ingredients
Cook until sauce turns very thick, or even crispy on the tofu (makes it taste more like chicken if it is crispy).

Serve with 1 cup brown rice.
