Healthy , tastey, tuna cakes
You`re gona love this one !! Tuna healthy fishcakes, can be used to snack on while dieting or eaten on whole grain breads/pittas while lean bulking.
Ingrediants :
4 cans large tuna (each@175g net weight, 120g drained weight)
3 whole eggs
5 large olives
1/2 cup + 1/2 wholemeal flour
1 large potato (4" diametre)
some capers
some mint, pepper, garlic and chillies (optional)
2 tbps healthy oil .. like for example sesame oil for frying
In a large bowl combine :
4 cans of tuna + 3 whole eggs+ 5 chopped large olives + 1 mashed potato + 1/2 cup wholemeal flower, capers and the garlic,mint pepper and chillies. Divide the mixture in approximate 10 medium sized patties. In a seperate plate pour the remaining 1/2 cup wholemeal flour . Roll the 10 patties in the wholemeal flour and fry in a non stick frying pan, in the 2 tbsp of sesame oil.
2 Patties contain : 31 protein, 15carbs and 10.8fats (of which 1.9sat,2.2poly,4.9mono!). Also 2 patties contain : 2.2 fibre, 2.77Iron and 37mg of calcium...

I cant see it been very healthy to combine tuna and raw eggs. JMO
