Sweet Potatoe Experiments
About a 2 years ago I was nutritionally inept. A good friend/trainer opened my eyes to the world of nutrition and how it effects the body. Saying that I saw AMAZING results doesn't even touch how I really feel. I researched everything like a junkie haha. I now love sweet potatoes and their benefits on the body. I use to just microwave them and eat them skin and all as a mid meal. I'm curious now about alternative ways to cook them. I don't want to use seasoning, sugar or anything that requires alot of ingredients. I'm basically wondering if anyone has experimented with other ways to cook them. I was thinking about slicing them really thin and cooking them on a skillet like ppl do normal potatoes. Has anyone tried that? Also, has anyone tried making sweet potatoe fries or hashbrowns from them? (yes i know they make them in grocery stores but they are full of negative crap) It seems like it would work. I will probably just experiment, its not like they cost an arm and a leg If there are any Emeril Lagasses' on here please give me your "BAM" experiences haha!

I'm also wondering some different recipes for sweet potatoes. I've done the fries on a Foreman grill which turned out ok. I just throw on some cinnamon on put olive oil spray. I'll have to try the hash browns with cinnamon next..

sliced into fries and cooked in a very small amount of olive oil on a skillet. Mashed with the skin is good also

Either cut them into weges with some paprika salt and peper (cant do without the seasoning), cook with oil spray on them in oven for 20-30 mins, beautifull!
or boil and mash, i dont leave skins on tho
