    Spinach & Turkey Pasta - 680 cals | 16 fats | 48.5 carbs | 55 Protein

Well this is pretty simple. Finding a sauce that's 50 calories is worth not having to make your own. My pictures really don't do it justice. I can't make food look good, but it sure was delicious!

    INGREDIENTS:

    1. Spinach Pasta (you can use any shape you like)
    2. Vodka Sauce
    3. Shredded Mozzarella
    4. Spinach Leaves
    5. Ground Turkey

    DIRECTIONS:

    • Place Pasta in boiling water until desired tenderness.
    • Pan fry ground turkey until light brown. (move to paper plate)
    • Chop spinach finely.
    • Mix spinach into ground turkey.
    • Strain pasta and place on plate.
    • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella all over hot pasta so it melts.
    • Add ground turkey and chopped spinach mix.
    • Top off with vodka sauce.

    THE MACROS:

Ingredient Quantity Calories Fats Carbs Protein
    Spinach Pasta 4 oz 380 2 40 14
    Vodka Sauce 1/2 cup 50 3 6 2
    Ground Turkey 150 g 160 5 0 30
    Shredded Mozzarella 1/4 cup 80 6 1 8
    Spinach 1 cup 10 0 1.5 1

Sometimes I use more than 1/2 a cup. It's the lowest calorie sauce I've ever seen...

Getting the ingredients for this today....can't wait

Edit: Just made this. Gotta say its pretty damn good. I took a little creative license and added a couple different items. 1) I added a shallot. 2) I used a different sauce. Classico spicy tomato & basil. Serving size is 1/2 cup. 1g fat, 50 calories, 6g sugar. 3) couldn't find spinach pasta so I used a pasta fortified with carrot, spinach, beet. I had some mushrooms in the fridge. Should have thrown those in too but didn't think about until I was scarfing this down!! This one will be a staple for sure.

I tried a variation on this the other day by subbing the ground turkey for salmon....that turned in to a cat rodeo. Stick with ground turkey or chicken!!
