Chocolate Pancakes! Sick of Eggs and Oats? Try these
I got sick of eating eggs and oats for so long so I came up with these. They are awesome tasting!! And have basically the same nutritional profile as oats, eggs, and a half piece of fruit (even less high GI carbs actually, only small amounts from the cocoa, pudding powder, and protein powder.
Chocolate Pancakes
1/3c oats (prefferably quick oats)
4 pk Splenda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp Unsweetened Cocoa
1 tsp Chocolate Sugar Free instant pudding powder
1/2 scoop Optimum Whey Protein Powder(natural chocolate flavor)
1 tbsp Natural Peanut Butter (optional)
1tsp freeze dried coffee (optional)
1 Egg
3 Egg Whites
1. Microwave oats with 1/3c water
2. Beat eggs in blender
3. Add Splenda, salt, baking powder, cocoa, pudding powder, whey powder, peanut butter, coffee, cooked oats and additional 1/8c water to blender.
4. Blend until all ingredients are mixed
5. Spray a pan with nonfat cooking spray and fry like Pancakes
Makes 3 large sized cakes
With Peanut Butter:
Calories: 400
Carbs: 28
Protein: 36
Fat: 16
Without Peanut Butter:
Calories: 300
Carbs: 24
Protein: 33
