Thread: 1st cycle ever

    okay well, i thank everyone for their advice even if its harsh but i hold no hard feelings thats why i posted..... i guess the guy that selling it to me just wants the money... lol but yeah i've trained hard i went to ballys fitness on the weight gain program and i got up to about 143 and lost it pretty quick cause i stop going cause of work and stuff anywho i eat like crazy and i do have a fast metabolism maybe i dont eat at the right times or i dont eat enough but for a time i was counting my calories and a normal day was about 2400 calories and when i was on the weight gain program i was up to about 3800 with the help of weight gainer 2200 but thanx for the advice again and i'll read up on the diet forum that i did not know about until now but if anyone has advice about a dieting plan it will be a great help and i dont understand the abriviations as "PCT" or "AAS" but i will look and find out what they mean and i dont really have a lifting exp. just what i have from ballys for about 5 months





    but a quick stupid question....lets say i train hard and eat right according to the diet forums how long do you think it will take me to get up to my desired weight?

    That's one of your problems. If your not consistant what do expect to gain? Consistancy is key.

    Eating like crazy is different than always eating like crazy. You have to come up with a structured diet plan (ie 6-7 meals a day) and follow that until you reach your goal, but your not done once you reach your goal. Now you have to maintain that weight and if you plan to put on more weight than you'll have to adjust your diet accordingly.

    PCT and AAS stand for Post Cycle Therapy and Anabolic-Androgenic Steroids, respectively. You'll learn all of this with time and research. As for lifting, you'll need to start following a structured lifting routine as well. My advice would be to keep the volume low and the weight high and focus on compound lifts. Deadlifts, rack deadlifts, squats, and bench all will put on a ton of weight. A journal will help you keep track of lifts and also motivate you to beat every lift from previous weeks, which is key in progressing in the gym.
