Shit, I even like your name LOL. Good luck!
    Thanks for the encouragement bro I really do appreciate it.... well today is the first day of the last week I've decided to end it on saturday... I'll be changing my diet slightly to carb deplete 35g of carbs on thursday/friday/saturday and then saturday night my last meal will be carbs from fruit sunday morning first 2 meals will have fruit as carbs and switch to russet potatoes for the rest of day.. the whole tim increasing my fluid intake slightly from 2 gallons a day where it is now to close to 3 and sunday night around 5pm.. I'm going to stop drinking water... I'll be taking pics all day saturday through monday night... and see how I look if someone with some experience would care to comment on my carbup plan I would appreciate it...

    Oh and PS... sodium/potassium balance will not be messed with it will be a constant.... all the research I've done up till this point has suggested keep a stable and high sodium balance would be ideal... as my sodium content has been consistently moderate I will sustain its current level...

    Nice, impressive. I ran 4 miles today. I've ran 3 every day for close to 2 weeks. I think I'm gonna up it to 4. Running comes very easy to me. I was flyin' today, and it felt good! It makes cutting up fun. I must admit though, I can't wait to hit up a heavy bulker when all is said and done with this. I need to lose some more though, then I think everything will be good to go for a bulker. The running should ensure I don't over eat, it has up to this point. I''ll up to 5 if I have to. Anything beyond that becomes a pain in the a*s for me though. It's like, "Why not just alter something else in your routine like calories," if it comes to that point. So far everything has been nice though. Soul......sounds like you're doing super. Awesome job.

    Some of you guys want to see him take it down pretty low. I think he did a phenomenal job, especially from where he started from. I'm not exactly sure what I would do if I was Soul, but I might do something like this: bulk it up again, peaking out at a much lower bodyfat than before, then cut it down again to the low ranks. So far, and I know I haven't seen even close to everyones pics, but so far, Tank's brother, and G-Force look like they've touched upon some of the lower ranks of bodyfat, meaning 6 or lower. And by no means do I hold any of that sh*t sacred. I think if you want it, go after it. So far my diet has been cake. But...........I'm not to those ranks just yet. Runnin' in the hot florida sun makes life easy.

    you read my mind bro.... people fail to realize what looks good at 6'2" it takes a hell of alot of muscle.... to get that "big look" I am a very large guy as far as bone structure my arms over 18" (right arm 18.25 left 18 they were closing in on 19 before I started the diet) and they look tiny in those pics so I need to hold something like 250+ with <9% bodyfat before I'm goona look jacked... my weakest points right now being my chest/triceps so I'm going to dedicate the next year of my life trying to put on as much mass as humanly possible and bring up my weak points while keeping bodyfat below 15% and around next april or may start cutting down to single's again...

    That's awesome Soul...... Trust me bro, you DO look big at 6'2". I know what you mean by all that sh*t, but you do fall into the "big" category. You're hard on yourself. That's good IMO. Again, what you did was super! And, IMO, bf is not the be all and end all of it. There's a lot of guys out there ripped with no muscle. Dime a dozen. I was thinking, that since your not about to enter a comp at this point, (at least you didn't mention that), that you may want to hit a bulker, being that you just busted your ass for FOUR months! Then I was thinking, that you may choose to peak out at a lower body fat while bulking, and cruise right down to a real low bodyfat. Don't get me wrong man, you look lean as hell. And, I guess I hit it on the knob, for now anyways, unless you choose to alter your plans down the road. Awesome LOL. I'm doing very similar things. Again, great job, your thread's awesome bro.

    I've read something to support what your saying here and it fits. Think it was in the health and fitness pullout of our local paper, either way, it mentioned that if you start your cardio at high intensity for 15min and then lower to just over the fat burning zone you'll see far greater results in terms of fat loss as it quickly burns the glycogen stores then moves right on to the fat while preventing muscle catabolism. The study quoted had compared this to standard fat burning zone cardio entire duration, high intensity cardio entire duration, and fat burning zone start then 15min high intensity at end and the aforementioned was the hands down winner.

    Hell I might actually try it one of these days haha.

    Hey thanks bro....

    On a side not I did bicep and tricep shots recently and they were awesome!! I've got new sites bi's/tri's/quads/glutes/delts/traps(if I really need em weird shot) now I just need step up and try lats and calves I'm kinda scared as my first shots in my calves would be prop and that just doesnt seem like a good idea

    I would def say keep dieting, its working well and once you nail diet better and add more cardio you'll come down. From your pigs I would say you are now about 11 or 12% bf.

    I can write a better response later but my main suggestion is to keep dieting below 10%. I'm at about 6% now and have full abs and obliques with veins thru stomach etc. My avy is about what 10% looks like on quads.

    See and thats where its strange, my caliper readings are stupid low but I dont look like I should I do want to mention though since coming off of my diet and starting to bulk a little my legs and abs are coming in almost as if my skin is tightening even have the veins which become very prominent on my inner thight like a spiderweb after squats, which I think might be the reason as I lost so much weight so fast my skins playing catchup

    Ya you are filling all your glycogen up again and will become vascular but it wont decrease actual bodyfat. It's like when competitive bodybuilders load up on sugars and fats the morning of the show. Just filling out thas why.

    But ya if you started to bulk again thas cool cuz next time you cut you will get even lower and then lower again the tiem after etc. But try to get below 10% next time. That would be great for your body to bulk after as well.

    Hopefully this time you kinda learned what foods you react to, what gives you more energy, what bloats you etc.

    I'm well versed in the super saturation of glycogen stores but what I'm stating is aside from that it seems as if I'm losing bodyfat and subcutanious water/skin getting tighter... Here I just snapped these pictures they are exactly 2 weeks to the day I believe after the last ones... sorry for the bad lighting/mirror shots just literally just took em and my skin fold readings are:

    Abdominal = 6
    chest = 6
    Quad = 7
    suprailiac = 3

    Oh and as to what you mentioned in bold I found out my body reacts really well to a higher fat intake its amazing... store less fat gain lean muscle tissue the only time I really need carbs is during my workout

    ya not 7 % but dude that was an awsome job.

    I am not calling the kettle black, i made the same mistake and got to fat.

    Lok at trey brewer case in point he just did shit at the NPC's he got to dam big and came in with less muscle then the xcalibur.

    i think the dude resorted to DNP cause he couldnt drop it all and had some problems IMO and came in sloppy.

    Sorry but phil heath is amazing.

    IMO alot of body builder looks bad now now just to god dam big, ronnie, jay etc.

    But heath this year brought an awsom elook.

    what were his BF at the two shows you say 6 %?? the dude looks unreal.

    I never want to be as big as ronnie but the way phil heath looked at that IronMan that gave me some new long term goals!
