NOW, if your goal is to bulk i would refeed while doing cardio with 5g free form aminos, and just save the shake with carbs for IMMEDIATELY after. if cutting you may want to refeeed with bcaa's, but wait even longer than after the cardio to suck it down. muscle science showed studies and data that supports a 2 hour window after exercise when it has a negative effect on protein breakdown. so really it is goal oriented, because you burn x amount of fat kcals AFTER cardio, so why not take advantage of this during a cut?
