Training legs twice a week is possible... But only if you're on roids... Otherwise, as stevey 6t9 said, it's too much.

No disrespect to those who do use but I have never personally and had great success with legs twice per week. I feel that genetics play a huge role in this as I cannot hit chest per week without over training.

nah you can train legs 2x a week even if your not on "roids".
its a matter of the TYPE of training vs the amount of rest you get.

are you sure? i would be my life that there are multiple methods to training "balls to the wall" (like there is any other way to train) and hitting a muscle group 2x/wk.

EDIT: have you ever tried working a muscle group 2x/wk?
have you ever noticed that alot of times it is recommended that a LACKING muscle group be incorporated 2x/wk?
did you ever research and train in varies ways to accomodate the utilization of a muscle group 2x/wk?

How long do you stick with a routine? Most would agree that a specific routine should not be followed for more than a couple of weeks, therefore you should not get burnt out. Additionally, it may have been a result of poor diet, lifestyle choices, or you just haven't taken a week off for your body to recover in too long making a lack of those basics principles the problem.

Aww how cute.. throwing out the aas card. But, in actuality.. NO, being "ON" was irrelevant, i have trained muscle groups 2-3x a week and hit it BALLS TO THE WALL while seeing gains that were greater than the gains i acquired from 1x a week training style. Since the human body is an amazing organism quite capable of adapting to almost any situation and displaying impeccable resilience .. it only makes since to utilize a variety of training techniques. The thing i don't think you are able to fully grasp is the TYPE of training and the variety of... i will end it there, seeing how you utilized anabolic/androgenic steroids as a scape goat to justify your parroting thus i wont even bother will a full rebuttal.
