In the winter I will drink one after I get home depending were I am at in my training and diet. Spring and Summer I only bing at the lake. I work my tail off to be able to drink beer and be cut for the lake. Almost the only reason I train is for my sun, beer, boats and babes...

My only goal right now is getting larger, leaner muscle, which is tougher at my age than it was a decade ago.
Yep, that's pretty much what I was getting at. It all boils down to - you are what you eat... or drink in this case. Let's say 2 people, twins so the genetics are as close as possible, and starting off with the exact same stats ate the exact same diet, trained the same etc but one guy drank 1-2 beers/day. The other guy is going to look better in the end.

So again, it comes down to how hardcore you want to be. No, I don't think it will make or break a diet - so long as you account for their macros/calories in your daily allotment. Having said that, there are better sources those calories could be coming from obviously, and this is what i'm talking about.

Definitely not! I'll be going to Mexico in a few months and will be eating like the fat fvck I am at heart, drinking like the drunk i'm hereditarily predisposed to be, and sleeping when i'm not doing either of those 2 things. Funny enough, I still train on vacation, because I feel strong as hell from all the extra carbs, lol!

Lmao MS! I do the same, minus the boats.

Something I've been wondering about - alcohol has 7cal per gram so if a Bud Light has 110cal, are the 110 from the hops, barley, etc. in addition to the 7cal per gram of alcohol or is the caloric content of the alcohol included in the 110cal. I have always been under the impression it's not included b/c the alcohol doesn't actually have caloric content until the liver converts it into acetaldehyde. I know it doesn't really matter b/c alcohol and especially beer is terrible regardless, but just curious. BTW, for me alcohol and beer = kryptonite.
