My wife is also 25 and she follows the same training as I do. Works great for her.
She is also 5'1 and weighs 110 pounds.
After Thought: I've been thinking about your post and have been all over the internet looking up articles. There seems to be no physiological reason for women to train differently from men. muscles work the same ways in both men and women except men have more testosterone so we get bigger and harder. My wife follows whatever routine I'm doing except she does more Cardio than I do.
