Couple that with some misappropriated over-exaggerated bodybuilder information, choose one the leanest top bb'ers in history to support your premise, and build an fabricated argument based on erroneous presuppositions like most forum bb'ers are 250-270 lbs, eat 5K cals a day, and subsist on diets of pure cholesterol.

Well the last time I checked, the death ratio was still 1:1, some go early others late, but we all have to go. So you go your way weighing in at 155-185 lbs, w/virtually no muscle, strength, vigor or verve, eating grass, leaves figs, and distilled water, and we'll go ours.

No love lost, we'll all just live and let die (good title for a James Bond film). Save the rainforests, support the whales, and free Huey!

All of this is preliminary anyway, if you want to talk about what's really important, engage us in eternal matters.

    Best to you.
I'm in the 200's my friend. You are going on the other end of the spectrum with this. I am 5 inches taller than Frank Zane, therefore I weigh more than Frank Zane. Just cause I say what I say doesn't mean I'm a *****. I am a natural mesomorph with a big frame and big muscles. I haven't touched a weight in 5 months and I still look like a beast because my genetics said so! My genetics also say that I have high blood pressure and I should chill with the weights if I want to live a long life. I know that nobody lives forever, I'm not trying to preach. But I'm not going to listen to some obsessive people that think that being huge is the only way to live life. Nobody gives a shit how big you are. That's all vanity. There are more important things in your life than how big your ****ing biceps are. By the time 95% of the people on this board reach maturity, they will have regreted all the bullshit cycles they ever did.

I think i will have to respectfully disagree. Appearance and size have MUCH to do with how people perceive/respect you. The average CEO is taller than the average male. Why is this? People are discriminated against because of their appearance of age and grayness, even though highly qualified for a particular job when interviewing. whis is that? Beautiful people are more popular than the very ugly. And this is because? Fat people are scourned by society, and muscular people are glamorized by the very same group.

Two scenerios at a job interview. Both individuals are EQUALLY qualified for this executive level position. You decide which one gets picked for the job....

    1) 60 year old, 5'4", 260lbs, and 50% bf - and very UGLY
    2) 40 year old, 6'4", 260lbs, and 15% bf - and very attractive

Please don't tell me that appearance has NOTHING to do with which one of these two get the job!

Well, then, of course, whoever is younger would get the job. But when it comes to those kinds of things, why would someone with a 20-year advantage be equally, or less qualified for the job? I would think the older guy would have more experience and be at a position where he doesn't have to compete with a guy that's two decades younger.

Also, just being muscular doesn't necessarily guarantee you will get the job. In fact, sometimes being big can guarantee you DON'T get the job. Case in point, when I went for certain acting jobs in LA I was told by different people that I should lose some muscle mass to look skinnier. Sometimes looking big makes you look like a self-absorbed insecure prick too.

I honestly think it's more about you as a person and your demeanor that count more than how you look. I've seen guys that are fat, ugly, but are quick-witted and confident. Most people want to work with someone who they can associate with and who they don't feel intimidated by. When was the last president a Mr. Olympia? And don't tell me about Arnold and his "governatorial" endeavors. He got there because of his influence and money.

I wont even get into the interviewers point of view... but I will say this. If the guy interviewing you is a fat slob that eats pizza all day, do you think he'll want to hire the next Calvin Klein model?

You are in a way taking what I said out of context. Your "job" examples are the exception and not the norm. Most of the population are not actors, nor are they presidents.

In my example, I said everything being equal from a qualification standpoint. It is very easy for a 40 and a 60 year old to be equally qualified for a particular position.

I've had this discussion before with many people that fit into that "elite" profile (muscular, tall, attractive), and from what i see, they usually have a much easier time of it than someone fat, short and not attracitve. (everything else being the same) People get promoted based on how well they are liked, and people have a tendency to like others that look good and are attractive. To be considered for the promotion, you have to be able to do the job. that is the minimum qualifer. Attractive, tall & Healthy people almost always have a leg up on those that do not possess similar attributes.

There have been a variety of studies to support my comment. But the funny thing is that although these people that receive preferential treatment do not realize why. because for them, in most cases, it is in a blind spot. They do not see all the other factors that contribute to their success, except for some reason, they feel their "good luck" is attributable to some quality they feel they have control over. Believe me, short, fat ugly people are extremely aware of their "short comings", but for some reason, tall, muscular, attractive people don't seem to be aware of their "gift".
