No if anything it wasn't enough food. Most people that rely on protein shakes do not eat properly and once you learn how to eat the proper amount of protein carbs and fats i cant honestly see why you would want to rely on processed calories instead of real whole food unless you are in a pinch or using it as a supplement to your food plan in place. Do not get me wrong i think protein shakes have there place but again many people rely on them to much as the main source of food.
