I know people swear by them, but at our height, I'm 6'6" 255, the mechanics and leverage work so hard against us. I have already had back surgery so I wont even think about them. I believe you can build just as well without them if you do other exercises like bent rows, heavy bar shrugs, etc... The problem with the pain while on cycle is, it might end up being much worse when you come off. My injuries really flared up after my cycle which ended mid July and I am just getting back to normal now. Just a suggestion from my personal experience, maybe just back the weight off if you really want to keep doing them. Good luck, keep the gain train rolling.
