I know, I can spot the signs. What I believe to be the best predictor is how the individual relates to his own family. Poor relationships with family is imo correlated to higher chances of toxic relationship with a partner.

I speak of a willingness to wallow in filth rather than fix the sittuation. A relationship with a slob will be just that, a mess. Jobs are all about the same, its what you do in the time that you aren't at work that makes a person successful.
A slob as far as I am concerned is a lazy failure.
A recovering addict will be told to get a job and an apartment and a plant. If they can maintain all those things for a year, they can get a pet, if they can maintain all those things and everything is in good order at work and home, plant and pet healthy and happy, they can think about dating now.
I think everyone should be held to those standards. Men too. Slothenliness is one of the seven deadly sins for a reason. Slobs do not have their shit together, they have just settled for their own half effort.

True, I work very long hours. I don't like bacteria so I do clean but theres always a pile of coins, a pile of cash, bills + other important papers, books, cables, blister packs of pills, supplements, my PS4, PC, laptop, two monitors et.c. all on one desk. Does it really make a difference in my life if everything was put in drawers and stuff like that? Yes, it would take much longer to find stuff, thus I would lose time.
