The fact that it's believed they had electricity and tools blows my mind. Also that they sent electric through the air, Tesla almost had proved it.

There is a lot to the ancient astronaut theory actually. The ancients documented quite explicitly their encounters. I personally believe we are under anthropological study by one or more beings from other planets.

Think about it, how easy is it for us now to find planets in other star systems with just a few space based telescopes and ground arrays. We find one a day now on average. We can tell things about those planets like temperature, size, gravity, atmospheric chemistry (if it has one) how old the system is and so on.

Now imaging a race of being that are say only a few thousand years ahead of us. How easy would it be for them to spot our planet? We already have a working Theory on how to move through spacetime faster than light, we just need technology to catch up. An advanced race would be all for studying us and watching how we progress. And maybe anal probe a few Italians while they are at it.

Sometimes I wonder if human civilization is much older than it really is.
Say that humans at one time were advanced and had a sophisticated society and lost it due to war, famine or otherwise. Then the survivors had to relearn everything again and we are now the end product of those countless generations having to get caught back up.

For example, now if civilization were to completely crumble. There are very few of us that could survive and then restore what we once had. It would take many many generations to catch back up.

For fuck sakes, a large part of our population don't even know where their organic soy latte Starbucks comes from...

I once watched something come down to tree level so close I could hear it hissing, it moved to about four locations at random with complete ease so fast it was indescribable and then it literally sailed across the sky in half a second.

No doubt about the latte . I watch that ancient aliens show where they had hieroglyphics of the king with the wand in his hand that had a cord that was plugged into something and stones that were cut so flat it had to be done by machine. I was blown away. They had the towers where they believed they sent the electricity from one to another and the pyramids had liquid Mercury flowing underneath them. It was believed that the aliens will give them the electricity when they would come and visit.
