Not disagreeing, just a different perspective.
Ever notice when we inject ourselves we are slow and deliberate and rarely do we get sore. Go to the doctors office and get an injection and it's the exact opposite. Slam the pin in and push the contents in as fast as possible. Like they're late for somehing.
Makes you realize how callous some can be!
Another point of contention with Doctors offices is when they rush you in, immediately sit you down and the nurse takes your BP. Then tell you it's a little elevated! No shit, WTF! I've refused several when they want to immediately do it and make them wait until the other crap is done first. Always pissed me off. Rant over.
I've heard them tell me that people's BP is regularly higher in the doctor's office. They'll try to say it's the stress of being there. They never even think it's because they checked it as soon as they walked them in to the room and sat them down. They don't even give 5 minutes so you can settle down.
