if you ask for a critical view i would call BS, the dangers out weigh the advantages of this kind of training.

Restricting blood flow to any part of the body for the purpose of excersising is plain stupid if you ask me.
Blood flow resrticiton also known as "crush injuries".
If the muscle starts to break down through oxygen starvation this means that the muscle is dying. When the muscle breaks down toxins are released from the muscle. When the thing causing the "Crush" is removed the toxins flow to other parts of the body resulting in toxic shock and then renal failure and death.

Ill stay as i am cheers.

I administer ivs with a tourniquet and I know you dont want that on for more than a few minutes. It will cause backflow with tissue and vein nercosis

I read a few articles on this as well but I agree with opierdol and hvylftr, From my understanding tourniquets need to be used for very short periods of time to avoid damaging effects.

but if anyone has tried it I would be interested in first hand knowledge.

Ramblin thinkin of giving it a try ? It may help those forearms they seem to be lagging!!
