Michael Vick
Your thoughts, opinions... please keep them tasteful and civilized...
I personally predict he'll serve 2-3 years and come back to play, I think he is/was one of the best talents to ever set foot in a football field, very dissapointed with all information released to date.

Should enjoy a lot of cock fighting in prison.

I actually have a bet that he will not do any time, just probation. After seeing how much public outcry there is, I might be wrong. Vick really F'd himself on this one. He is looking at never playing football again. Really unfortunate that maybe the most talented football player we ever seen, had something very dumb end his football career.

i was sick of hearing his name before all this dog fighting bs started. most talented football player we've ever seen? wtf? i could name some players at his position that are MUCH better than he is. payton manning, tom brady and carson palmer just for starters. how many times have we heard that vick will have a breakout season this year? alot and it's never happened. i hope his career is over because i'm sick of hearing about this moron who has done nothing in his nfl career accept not living up to the hype he's got since he was drafted.

how about... best one man act... athletic football player? i totally agree that at his position there are plenty better, with higher completion %'s and winning records but you can not deny his pure talent- objectively speaking...

well IMO, there are these little hookers (read: Lohan, Richie, Hilton...etc)that keep getting dui's and other more serious offenses that could actually KILL PEOPLE and all they get is a slap on the wrist and its a joke...but Vick is SUPPOPSEDLY involved with dog fighting and hes already ASSumed guilty and and should have the book thrown at him over some animals??? WTF is that bogus crap about? I like animals and all, and if Vick is guilty he should definitely get some kind of punishment...but this is just ridiculous if he gets more time than Hilton's dui (which IS NOT her first one).

He's a sick individual and deserves to be punished, i don't think there is a doubt in anyone's mind whether or not he's guilty..but really we've got to assume innocent until proven otherwise...but if found guilty....i just hope he gets a respectable punishment- and playing football again? forget it....joey harrington is a better pass quaterback anyway...get him a good wideout and the falcons might win a few....gotta remember who joey played 4 before the move to atlanta...his record doesn't show his talent...

That's too bad that Vick would do something like this that could completely ruin his career. He's suck a good athlete and its sucks to see him go down the drain over something like this.

through him in jail he's not quarterback he's there runningback so bring on harrington.

He got 23 months in prison yesterday. A member from another site said that you have to serve 85 percent of your time when it is a federal crime (or something like that).

I heard that Vick is trying to get out early by entering a drug rehab program for pot. Is this possible?

He is hardly the most talented player to set foot on the field. He's a dime a dozen.

One thing is for sure, he won't be going to Seattle during the 2009 season. Jim Mora, who takes over for coach Holmgren, would want nothing to do with him.

Jim Mora's father was right in a way...Vick was a coach killer. Just ask Bobby Petrino.

federal system is day for day but there is a variety of things you can do to knock days off your sentence i think he still will do 70 % with all the breaks in the world

there has never been another quarterback who could run a 4.3 through a ball 80 yards and 75 mph. if that is not talent than i dont know what is. vick is one of the only players in the nfl that can completly take over a game by himself and make other teams center there whole game plan around stopping HIM.

on the other hand how can we be outraged by a man killing some dogs (that will bite your hand off if you try to pet them) when we slaughter babies by the thousands. now there is something that deserves a protest.

maybe as a quarterback but not as an athelete. he dosnt have the work ethic, but i dont belive you can question his ability
-
one of the greatests aspects for a qb is smarts, and vick totally lacks those... yes he is athletic.. but still a dumbass.... hence... hes overrated

true. im hoping that he will come back as slot reciver-kick returner, kind of a devon hester type player so that we can see his true athleticism not his thinking, comprehinding or leading skills (which he lacks).

I hope he visits the dogs he helped torture on a regular basis when he gets out...
Here is an update on their progress...

Wow... never did i stop to think that rehabilatation was also a need for these dogs. I wonder why some people give up and lock 'em up for life instead of engaging in rehab.
Any news on Vick particularly?

i totally see micheal vick and kordell being on the same level..
if kordell would have stayed at slash rather than I wanna QB then the dude would have had a way better career.. but nope he cried and now does he even play?
