Eagles n Cards.................
I'm gonna have to be honest here.....Eagles 27 Cards 10. The Eagles running game kicks in and turns this game upside down. I truly believe Westbrook and Buckholter get it going in this game and open up the pass game.

No chance, eagles do what they always do in a big game,,, choke, cards 31, eagels 10
-
Eagles will beat Cards, but neither one of them will beat the Steelers or Ravens

The cards defense will be at the test they have to stop a QB that can throw and run and a RB who can run the ball and catch the ball out of the backfeild. I dont think arizonas going to beable to run the ball that I think Edge sucks! So expect to see arizona blitz the shit out of them!

I am hoping for the Cards to win. I am a big Kurt Warner fan.

Kurt is the man and it would be a great story if they won it all but man it seems like a stretch. Who knows though. It makes it interesting

Lets,, see, how many times they made in to the championship game, and how many times to the superbowl,, and how many did they win,,, the stats are the stats, but i guess ill remind you real quick. Im only goin back to 1991 (to make you look less stupid).
1991- wildcard, loss
1993- Division game, loss
1995- Division game, loss
1996- wild card, loss
2001- Division, loss
2002- Champinoship, loss
2003- Championship, loss
2004- Championship, loss
2005- Super Bowl, loss
2007- Championship, loss
Also, 0-2 in super bowls
Kinda looks like Choking in big games to me

how can a pa boy be hatin so much??
they lose in big games, but the cardinals don't even get there! when the cardinals lose it'll be a great season for them nonetheless, the eagles HAVE been there and know what its like regardless of the past. experience counts for a lot and you can't beat the eagles in that field

Soooo - Are you saying pittsburghs overall performance it that time period is better? (knowing u are a steelers fan) - I think not.... Arent that many nfl teams consistantly in the playoffs and in the nfc champ like the birds. Their time may be here....you have to be in the league championship to lose it...that alone is nothing to be ashamed of...

Im a learned hater, surrounded by philly fans, and every year I gotta hear them wine. Im just sayin, the steelers should have won more under cower, who was overratted in my opinion. But two of there champ looses came against new england when they were taping signals and cheating, but if you look at their overall playoff success, mostly superbowls, they know how to win. But I hate all the philly teams, the only one I kinda root for is Temple. IF your a true steeler fan, you hate Dallas, New England, Cleveland, Baltimore and Philly, then again hatin on cleveland is like picking on a retard with no arm and legs.

yeah.. he really blew it down the stretch. the first half and the last drive ALL his passes were either 3 feet over the receivers heads, or about to bounce off the ground. and he felt the need to throw every short pass as hard as he could. he fuked westbrook with those a couple times.
good comeback, but the eagles de blew it in the first half

28-47 375 yds,3 TD's 1 Int, He may have missed a few throws but saying he choked is a tad much. If anyone choked I thought it was the Eagle defense.

^^^ yeah u r right ..i just think he missed a lot of throws in that 1st half...too many. He was off. But in the second half you are correct, he played well. I give props to the cards O ....esp in the first half and of course at game time when it counted....

yeah larry fitzgerald definitely earned his money today... it just seems like every time he was in single coverage he got open deep and made great plays on the ball. even the edge stepped up when he was needed to make plays for them. if they had a more even run game and could work anquan boldin in more to draw backs off fitz they would be an AMAZING team

I met Fitzgerald once when he played for pitt, hes big, fast, strong and freakin ripped up close, right now you gotta put him above Moss, Owens and Johnson.

Ed who ??? We all saw the best saftey in the NFL tonight.
-
01-18-2009, 11:11 PM #31
I think Fitz is the best reciever in the NFL right now. Boldin is a beast as well but not on the level that Fitz is playing at right now. Ed Reed is still amazing and I am not sure if TP is a better all around player. They are easily one and two as far as ball hawks are concerned though. A. Wilson from the Cards can play some safety as well though

I'm a big Eagles fan and will have a hard time sleeping tonight. I will say that Mcnabb missed some WR early in the game but he put things together as the game went on. I hate hearing people always pointing the finger at McNabb. The first half was bad in all for the Eagles, the running game to mental penalties to put them in 2nd and 3rd and long.

^^ yeah
i think the problem is andy reid.. he is so conservative, he plays like every game is the first of the season, and doesn't take the big chances. just look at the game today, on their second to last TD when they missed the extra point, why wouldn't you go for 2?? missing the PAT or making it, you're still down 4 or 5, so you need a td, but if you go for 2 and make it, a field goal ties it.
he's been that way for years, and they need to get rid of him while mcnabb still has some left in the tank

Someone should have bet me! The 3rd best Defense has it's worst day and the Kicker had his also. If it weren't for Akers...we might have had it.
I'm gonna keep saying this until it finally reaches the front office at the Eagles. They need a #1 Receiver...not mediocre #1. Look at how good Owens made McNabb look , and with the 2 receivers Warner has he looks good. He looked good backe when he had Bruce and whoever it was with the Rams. Warner looked like a Jackass for the past how many years? McNabb is and awesome quarterback working with so so receivers. Hopefully Dejean will come into his own but is still too small. Dam , why won't they get him a great receiver??? I think they actually almost got Fitz a year or so ago. It's hard dealing with this loss...I'll be honest...I'm friggin depressed!!!

Dont forget, they could of had Moss also.

Yea...I guess now I'm for Pitt! Going into this I had 3 teams I liked....bein from Pa , I'm first an Eagles fan , then a Pitt fan. I was born in Baltimore but that was before they snuck the Colts outta Baltimore in the middle of the night. I never could bring myself to become a Ravens fan after many years of not having a football team. If they would have let them buy the "Colts" name back , which they tried to do , I would have remained a Colts fan. I believe in staying true to your roots.
I can't stand a fan who supports a team from another state in which they live or were born. Thats like backing up someone elses Parents other than your own. Wherever you are from support your team. And if you don't have one ....GET ONE in your state!

Thats what I mean bro!!!!! Pisses me off! If I were McNabb I would say I want 50 million to extend my contract or a #1 receiver and if I get neither...I'm outta here. He's a good qurterback trying to make good with what he has. And to boot..Andy Reid want to throw 70% of the time. Go figure!

the eagles ony good wr since mcnabb was drafted was T.O. and that was the best season of mcnabb's carear. if they had one decent wr mcnabb would be wearing at least one superbowl ring if not 2. it has to get so frustrating watching your guys drop all those good passes then seeing fitzgerald jump up and make every ball thrown within 10 yards of him

I love how the fans blame McNabb. That guy does more with less than anyone. What a joke. I hate Philly and their fans.
